I wanted the DP but am pleased with the potential outcome of LWOP. Still, I am taken aback when people want and dream of PPV of CMJA in her cell, etc. It's just bad. She is among the worst of the worst, and she should be punished. What startles me is when people view this as entertainment, like PPV of her being punished. It's just wrong. Lock her up and pray for her soul. If she has money on the books for whatever, so what. It's not like she is going anywhere. The dream of watching her torment in a cell is not right, no matter what she did, that doesn't make it right for you to enjoy that horror that will be her life. She did it; she earned it; I'm not saying lessen her sentence. I'm saying for someone to enjoy it and even entertain the idea of watching her 24/7 imprisoned in her cell is crazy wrong.
She's in freaking jail!! Just what "affairs" does she have that she needs to put in order?
If Juror #17 is investigated so should ALL the jurors.
Be careful what you wish for.
~~IMO~~

Of ALL the things joe has done I'm MOST thankful for shutting down the olivia klaus domestic violence documentary she's planning on arias. If i understand the premise and the documentary agenda it was going to be disgusting. I wish we had an expanded son of sam that prohibits the financial gain off their crimes but prohibits them from speaking to media outlets about their crime. There are other motivators besides financial. I'm glad arizona DOC prohibits media from their institution.

Angela Simpson video interview - it's probably been posted here before, but I just found it and I think it's interesting in many ways as it will relate to ja's future community.
She's almost hate to say oddly likable for her directness. Please, please, please, if someone has a better descriptor than likable tell me!! That's not a challenge, it's that I know it's not quite the right word, but that's all I have for now. She's very open about what she did and oops, there was a racial component to it, too - so watch out ja. Beginning 11:00 (approx) pay particular attention. She would never kill a black individual. Her victim was white and a snitch. If she had the opportunity to kill again she said "absolutely".
She said it's only right that she's so honest and direct because that's what she expects from others. That's going to be a real problem considering ja's barely nodding acquaintance with being honest or direct about much of anything.
When asked, she says her sentence wasn't fair. It wasn't fair because she deserved the Death Penalty. She said she deserved it, but she's okay with her life sentence. She's not complaining.
As far as interviews with convicted ADMITTED murderers, I think this rates as an amazing interview. Chilling, but amazing. Throw rocks at me if you like, but you can't ask for anything more than honesty from a convicted murderer as to why they viciously murdered someone. I've never seen anything like this.
ja has much to be worried about from this one.
That was me, thank you so much for this! It's really good information I do wish websites would have all their information organized. Example: Perryville has all the Perryville-pertinent info organized where it makes sense to us visitors instead of having to back out to Google, lol!
I don't think the statement says the investigation has been put to rest, on the contrary it says if there is legitimate wrongdoing it will be prosecuted. The statement was addressed to the public stating they should not take justice into their own hands, there are proper channels for justice to be rendered, and those channels will be based on legitimate investigation and genuine evidence, that's all.
Didn't you see mine? LOL. Yes, Tex Mex posts some tempting food pics, it made me order a BLT pizza earlier.
I agree. If I understand correctly it would have been nothing short of the exploitation of the murder of an innocent young man in order to espouse the distorted world view of the misandrist school of thought. A transparent and self serving opportunity that would take no account of and feel no concern for its impact on the still living victims of this brutal and unjustified crime.Of ALL the things joe has done I'm MOST thankful for shutting down the olivia klaus domestic violence documentary she's planning on arias. Adding...I have taken a stand. The LWOP sentence she'll get, IMO, is the perfect and just measure taken by the State to prevent her from killing again outside prison walls.
It is not her just punishment, though, IMO. Frankly, the emotional and psychological torment and abuse she inflicted upon Travis for 2 years straight, and especially from from April 7, 2008 until the day she sliced, stabbed, and shot him, sickens me almost as much as the murder itself. Travis called it being murdered from the inside out....that's how much he hurt.
My stand is that I am perfectly OK with having her punishment be that SHE is the one who can't escape her abusers, and that SHE experience being treated as if she existed solely for whatever purpose best served her tormentors.
If that's bad, then I'm bad.
