"The truth stops here"~~ Jose Baez
He wasn't joking.
He wasn't joking.
Hmmmm interesting.. maybe that is why Baez was constantly checking his Blackberry during the trial?
All that I know is this, the DT won this case and were paid/will be paid in blood money. Therefore, while they may have money in their pockets and bask in their glory for a little while, that money will be cursed and in the end will not bring fulfillment or happiness. Same is true for ANYONE who tries to profit off of this murder. :twocents:[/quote
Let it be so.
I'm hoping that any money the DT gets cursed. I think a curse has been sort of falling on them since the verdict was read. Basking in glory has made people question the DT. After CM flipped off a reporter, people were calling him classless and a jerk and some people in the bar association that he is affiliated with didn't think much of that display. Also if JB starts raking in big money, I could see his friends and family try to get a piece of the pie which could cause strifes for his family. The same could happen with Mason and Sims.
Last night on Joy Behar, Dottie **** Sims couldn't even directly answer Joy's questions about Casey babysitting Sims' kids or grandchildren. Dottie looked like she was going to crap her pants as she struggled to give an answer and she never really answered with a yes or no. Also I watched bits and pieces of her interview with In Session's Ryan Smith grilled on her some things and again she had trouble answering straight forward.
I'm willing to bet JB and CM probably didn't like Dottie's TV appearances and I can see conflict resulting from it. JB and CM know how to answer questions and the critics. Dottie's doesn't have that ability.
I feel Dottie, JB and CM will be cursed in some way. I hope KC finds out about Dottie's appearance on Joy Behar.
Two things:
1. So the DT called us (posters and bloggers) idiots and yet the used our intellectual property for their own gain. Seems they have morphed into being just like their client. Stealing from everywhere they can. CM even went so far as to imply that 'talking heads' would be hearing from them soon - so I guess if their plans to cash in from the media fail they will cash in on 'talking heads' and bloggers. This as I sit here hearing on IS that LP is now looking into a 200,000 lawsuit against ICA. Perhaps we need a class action suit too. So it goes like this: Mock, use, mock, use then rub the salt in their avatar faces.
2. Totally Obsessed: I hate to see that you are questioning why some of us posters are awol. This hit me hard. It hit to the core of belief and value system. I have been trying (not doing well at it, but trying) not to read much and listen to as much coverage as it is time for me to heal if I am going to ever help advocate again. Many of us have been personally affected by a sociopath, psychopath, narcissist, boarderline or person whom displays these characteristics and this case was in part to teach the public what can happen and the dangers of such personality disorders and in a small way was to be healing to say they don't always win. Somehow, I want to still believe that they don't and that justice can work.
Another part of why I am not posting (and these reasons could be true for some others missing) is that most of what I want to say is violation of TOS. For example jury tampering and is that possible and alive and well still today in the US? I am still reeling in shock - so for me and others who are awol - please don't let the DT have the power to make you doubt the things (posters) you once believed in. To do so is to let the DT use us and our 'feedback' then turn us on each other and that somehow makes this all even sicker.
Lastly, I was so busy watching every moment of the trial (and am not skilled like you guys to watch and post and read) and in the evening after a long trial day and now that the trial is over - there have been sooooooooo many new members that I almost feel like a newbie. I hardly recognize my home planet?!?!??
So hold my spot while I am lost and healing and as I figure out a way to help - but help the side of justice, should that be a real thing and not just a figment of my imagination.

The day I realized that JB was using our words, word for word, (June 18, 2011) and that DT <modsnip> were here trying to incite us or to get our opinions and/or to disagree with them was the day I decided to withhold anything that I thought might help them.
But doesn't this show that they were not presenting Casey's story? Is it legal for attorneys to make up the story as they go along...depending on vulnerabilities that their consultants feed them?
Another quote:
"I preferred to have people on the jury who didn't have children. All the bloggers kept saying, 'I'm a grandparent and if my grandkid went missing for three minutes I would know,' or, 'I'm a mother and I wouldn't be out partying if my daughter was missing.'
I still don't get the dislike for George. I just felt he was being so humanly honest. Though I do wonder about the affair with crystal, but that is all I am unsure of of him.:banghead:
<respectfully snipped>
I just watched those interviews...wow, you weren't kidding about her reactions! I also noticed she keeps saying "liked" Casey.
The "liked" Casey part shows that Sims likely didn't believe or trust Casey 100%. On another thread here one poster said that during the jury selection that Dottie put her purse on the defense table and that KC eyed the purse and Dottie then took her purse off the table. I think Dottie had immediate distrust when she noticed KC eyeing the purse. Dottie knew about KC's past thefts.
I have rewatched the "babysitting question" video and other clips of Dottie for entertainment. Overall I think Dottie is the type of person that is overly confident person when she isn't being grilled by her critics but she falls apart when someone asks her tough questions.
I think she probably thought Joy Behar wouldn't ask her any tough questions. I bet she went on the show with the attitude that "I'm smarter than Joy".
I also think Dottie didn't expect Ryan Smith to grill her either. She should have expected Ryan who is a lawyer to grill her on things.

I hope FCA rewards her supporters and benefactors by robbing them blind. They deserve it.
according to the jurors interviewed so far:
1)the prosecution lawyers weren't as fun to watch as JB
2)George behaved badly on the stand
3)they didn't want to be responsible for anybody's death without knowing "manner of death" of the victim
Ohhhhh the insanity!!!!
That statement by jurors is what really upset me ...The fact that the State provided them several choices .....more than one charge that would not be punishment of a death penalty. I know those imbeciles had no clue of what their job was.. First Degree Murder was not the only way to go ..that was the reason the State had other choices .. They did not understand their directions. Like the Child neglect HELLO she was the mother she was responsible for the child a sweet innocent and trusting Caylee..
We hear things on TV everyday ..like the most recent idea of removing an obese child from his parents ..its like a parallel universe.. I swear..
Plus they were not suppose to consider the Punishment phase .. they had NO CLUE... Why doesn't the media ever talk about this or ask the jurors this ... That really ticks me off.
I believe with my heart CASEY MADE A DEAL THE DEVIL.[/QUOTE
From the very beginning I thought this was a very mysterious case. No one really bought up the mystical aspects of this case. I without a doubt feel that Casey is guilty of murdering her child. I just always felt that there was some other power protecting her. The body was right there but three times someone suspected it and it took many attempts before it was found. Had it been found the first time the outcome would be different. It is as if it wasn't meant to be found b/c Casey needed to be protected from a lifetime in jail. Coming from a Haitian background myself which is a culture that is very entrenched with voodoo (I don't practice it but many Haitians do) I felt that this is quite a mysterious story. One of the ideas is that maybe Caylee was given up as a sacrifice of some sorts. In Haitian voodoo we call it "grilling the blood" but it would not involve murder but the slow mysterious death of a young child b/c the voodoo priest or priestess has somehow given the unsuspecting child something to eat or drink and has somehow gained entrance to her or him and she/he slowly dies.. over days or even months. This usually involves young children as they are innocent and their blood considered pure.
I don't know what Casey did but I believe it was some sort of opportunistic crime that involved getting rid of Caylee b/c she was in her way and then AFTERWARDS maybe some sort of sacrificial ritual was done (this would explain the ductape and heart shape sticker) and then her body was rid of in the garbage bag. The problem with making deals with the devil is that you have to keep up your end of the deal and in the end most people who make deals with devils die very young. We will see.
