The new sketch shared Monday depicts a man who appears much younger than the original sketch. Carter said the old sketch is now being considered secondary.

Master Trooper Taylor Bryant, a sketch artist with Indiana State Police who drew the new sketch, told IndyStar a sketch is based on how a particular witness describes the suspect. If there are several witnesses, Bryant would draw a sketch for each description. Bryant did not draw the sketch that police released in July 2017.

"The witness is the main focus. So there’s no input from law enforcement at all in the generating of a sketch, other than my presence as the artist."

Bryant uses a "facial identification reference sheet" that has a list of different categories, from head shapes to different eyebrows and noses. The person will describe the suspect based on those categories. "(It's) easier to do that than to describe (the suspect) using just words," Bryant said.

The sketch released on Monday was drawn by Bryant on Feb. 17, 2017, a few days after the victims' bodies were found. The picture was based on the description of a person who saw something that the person felt needed to be reported, according to Bryant.

Police are also looking to identify the driver of a vehicle that was parked at an abandoned CPS/DCS/Welfare building on the east side of County Road 300 North, near the Hoosier Heartland Highway.

Could this be because of the relatively new wide availability of pornograpy. You develop a *advertiser censored* habit which becomes more perverse over time, progresses to children and then the need to act out the fantasy.

I've read a bunch of books written by FBI profilers, and they tend to think that things like that don't lead to people becoming killers.

By a certain age, the damage is already done (whether you're born that way, made that way, or both).

Before *advertiser censored* was so widely available, these guys would get off from magazines.

So someone predisposed to becoming a serial killer would seek out gratification from what was available, and then escalate from there (peeping, stealing underwear, rape, etc).

If *advertiser censored* was the issue, then we should see this sort of thing happening more often. Statistically, that doesn't seem to be the case.

5'4 is pretty short for a man, imo. Looking at pics he doesn't look much taller than his wife or daughter standing next to them.

I have a feeling there will be no serious connection. I don’t see this as a group endeavor. But I know I could be wrong.

I’ll be surprised if KAK did not at least get paid for providing the connection via his personal account a_s … that would make him a participant in the murders IMO

But yeah it could be as minor a role as that. Or maybe a_s had nothing to do with the crime! But any role of a_s in the story implicates KAK

I’d think it’s more than DNA since he lives so close to the bridge, especially if DNA was just found in the general area. It would be necessary for LE to have evidence to prove RMA actually committed the murders.

Maybe someone close to him learned something from him that only the killer would know? Assuming he will be convicted, if a someone close to him assisted it would be really great if they also were able to collect the substantial reward money to help in rebuilding their future life. JMO

Doug Kouns, retired FBI agent from the Indianapolis area, discussed one-time person of interest in the Delphi murder investigation Kegan Kline on NewsNation’s “Rush Hour.”

Kouns said it is “very likely” Kline, who admitted to using a fake online profile to solicit photos from at least 15 underage girls, is connected to the arrest of Allen.

So many thoughts floating around my mind. Strongly believe there is a connection between KK and RA, strongly. KK was in contact with girls that live in Delhi (or his online account), KK's arrest record shows what type of character he is. Kline's actions in Vegas and the fact the a.shots account was in communication with the victims is enough for me.

One thing that sticks in my mind is RA's arrest is in CONNECTION to the murders. I'm not sure what that means. Do most here think that means he will be charged with the murders? I guess Monday will answer my questions, just can't get this off my mind. Stuck on the word connection.

Also hope the families get all their answers and not put through a horrible trial.

I watched Tricia and group on webseluths YouTube channel and someone there mentioned he was a searcher. we will find out soon enough for sure. in any event in a town of 3000 how many men fit the profile, live near the murder scene, and possibly had one or more connections to something either by a searcher or otherwise? and Worked in a public place where he probably interacted with every family in the town? It’s the only pharmacy in town, and seems like he had many hats, worked at front in Cvs and at pharmacy which you might expect in small town.

in abstract yes true you would not think him any different than other chubby middle age guy. But how many chubby middle age guys lived so near the scene? did not LE interview the hundred or so men within a mile or two who fit the profile? If they did they would have interviewed him. I hope they did bc if they did not that will definitely raise questions I think. He could have had an alibi or raised no red flags. but they should have interviewed him over the past 5 years

this is not a situation where in a population of 1500 men in the town you interview all men. Though when you exclude old people, thin People and people of color, that might leave you with a few hundred men to interview. but when you narrow that further to only men within a mile or two that can’t be an insurmountable number of people to do

I've always thought that he profiled as a serial killer, despite not meeting the definition. I do think these were his first and only murders, and that he's an extreme outlier.

The crime itself just felt sexually motivated, and law enforcement communicated in the same way they'd communicate with a serial killer.

I said yesterday that I was rattled by the fact that he had no serious criminal record, as guys who do this always seem to build up to it.

Yes, people commit crimes without being caught, but I can't think of a guy his age doing something like this, and not having been busted for something in the past.

What sexually motivated killer has ever started killing in his mid 40s, and has no history of sex crimes?

I've never seen it.

ETA: As others have pointed out, Canadian killer Russ Williams began killing when he was even older. He did exhibit the standard escalation behavior, but had not been caught for it.

One thing genetic genealogy seems to have uncovered is that there really are killers who commit one horrific, sexually-motivated crime and then don't seem to do it again (Raymond Rowe, William Talbot, etc). Having two victims does make it more complicated (though Talbot did as well), but I wouldn't completely rule out this being the first and last time the killer did something like this. Both Rowe and Talbot were quite a bit younger at the time of the crime though.

Back in the transcripts, when KAK is being interviewed, LE ask about Emily Anne.
Conversations with one of the girls asks if she would be willing to share things with an older man.
Emily Anne says something along the lines of, " He's almost 43 ".
This would have been in 2016.
Would this match RA age at the time?
