Truly? Like Hannibal Lector? I remember the commentary on the DVD said that such cells didn't exist. Maybe they were wrong.

There are a few cells in the prison system in CA that have full plexiglass on the front. The back wall is completely solid and the sides are walled with rectangular windows. These are made for severe cases for extreme cases of dangerous behavior. It is much easier for staff to monitor them, yet they are not in a fish bowl.

Casey is in a cell that is all plexiglass. I am sure the inmates can see her when they are going about doing whatever they do in their day..

I am not sure about the Plexiglas cell.

Local news showed the special cells in KC's area back when she was first arrested. They were concrete block walls all the way around with a solid core door that had a reinforced glass window in it. No bars or anything, didn't look half bad, lots of privacy. You couldn't see inside unless you walked up to the door.

That is the problem with jails these days, they are too nice. They need to be more like the FL jail shown in the old movie Cool Hand Luke. No screens, no air conditioning and in the middle of a FL swamp.

Her plan to not have to see her parents anymore, never have to deal with Caylee ever again, not let her parents have Caylee, not have a job, have your housing and meals taken care of... Gee, what a life!

Don't forget that she doesn't have to steal money anymore as people are dumb enough to contribute to her account so she can buy all of the junk she wants.

she said she was the one who gave casey her breakfast most mornings and that casey never left anything on her trey. which we have seen the results of...so not sure if someone has already said all this. but its the enquirer for march. BUT im assuming they did this before the 18th and was saying that fingerprints on the tape are going to "nail casey"! ha! then they even talked to mr. baden! w/e!!!

Per the bolded part: I haven't seen these results at all. At the hearing last week, she looked very slim and trim to me... maybe even a little smaller than she was when she was arrested again.
And who talked to Mr. Baden? The inmate? (Btw, it's Dr. Baden.) I have seen no documentation that says her fingerprints were on the duct tape, can anyone find that?
If NE or whoever paid this person $50,000 for these statements, then it was about $49,999 too much, IMO.

Thank you! I agree completely! There is nothing pornographic about ANY of the photos of Caylee that I've seen so far.
Not directed at any poster in particular, but these rumors and such are turning this forum into a gossip fest that other boards make fun of. This is not sleuthing... it's just plain rumor, no basis to it at all. We need to stick to facts, which are all bad enough as it is, without making things up.

Unfortunately the person I knew is no longer in jail (or fortunately for her!!) but she did say that any time KC walks by no one else can be in the room or everyone has to be in their cell. Even when she takes video conferences, no one else can be in the video conference room. The other prisoners hate that because of that it appears that she has special treatment and they have to change up their conferences and rec time because of her.

They say when she gets in shouting range of others everyone screams "baby killer" and "where is your baby?" (this is before they found the remains). They said there was no doubt that if she was ever released in general population she would be mincemeat. They all watch TV so they know exactly what she has done and how she thinks she is so special. A lot of the prisoners also were very resentful that she was getting all this attention for her crimes and they are getting none. Kind of weird idea but I get it. Sometimes people think bad attention is better than no attention at all. So in a "backwards sort of way" the more attention KC gets the more the prisoners resent her so I see a lot more resentment in the future as this case is not going away.

Other inmates deliver meals to her from the kitchen thus have contact with her.

Ohhhh....... Other inmates who HATE her deliver her food. Ughhhh.

Prolly why she orders so many goodies on her account!!!

When I look at Casey A. I see a very troubled and extremely disordered personality who may very well be using the photos and video of the daughter she is accused of murdering to help fund her million dollar defense. To be honest, I believe profiting in any way, shape or form from Caylee's murder is both unethical and immoral. If Casey is adjusting well to living in a cell decorated with images of homicide victim Caylee Marie Anthony, all I can say is God Help Her. The state is building a solid case to prove Casey guilty as charged. There will be justice for little Caylee. :rose:

O.K., I believe this whole statement is badly written and the sticking point is all about semantics.

“The prison officer who witnessed it told me, ‘It was as far as you can imagine from the reaction of a mother who’s just learned her child is dead.’

“And when I saw her the next morning, she greeted me with her usual cheerful smile, and proceeded to eat a hearty breakfast. There wasn’t a sign that she’d been grieving.”

It sounds to me as though the one being greeted is the prison officer, who no doubt saw that she ate her breakfast, all without a sign of grief.

Just my opinion as to the way I read it........

You're not paying any attention to how the quote marks are written. Both paragraphs are direct quotes from the trustee, the first paragraph includes her directly quoting the guard.

‘It was as far as you can imagine from the reaction of a mother who’s just learned her child is dead.’

Everything else in those two paragraphs is the trustee speaking. She's talking about seeing her smile and eat a hearty breakfast herself, not quoting the guard. If she was, the interior quote marks would have continued into the second paragraph.

I just hope that when she's convicted (notice I said when, not if) she's put in g-pop. I seriously worry that she'll be segregated then, too. I can just imagine Baez begging Judge Strickland on sentencing day to keep her away from the general population because of her notoriety. If she's segregated, there is no justice in this world.

Not sure if the article is true but I did search, and find a MS that was arrested on 3/13/09 for 3 counts of drug possession (Xanax and Coke). She was born on 3/21/75 so pretty close in age. She's got a pretty lengthy wrap sheet with 5 criminal, 2 misdemeanors and 5 traffic from 1993 till today.
