Thanks for posting you guys. I hope she is found safe and I will keep my eyes and ears peeled.
I am in Ellicott City, MD, about 10-15 miles outside of Baltimore City, and anywhere from 7-15 miles outside of Baltimore County. I've lived in this area of Maryland my whole life. Again, I wasn't raised in or around the immediate Bmore City area, but let me tell you, you don't have to be to know exactly why it's called "Body-more". I've gotten lost in my car in some JACKED-UP neighborhoods. The place is riddled with homicide, violence, drugs, and not-so -nice people. And frankly, there are some parts of Baltimore County, close to the city, that are not much better. I know all major cities are rough, but Baltimore is pretty awful. It's one place you definately do not want to wander alone in if you are a young female from out of town.
The house she went missing from is 6520 eberle drive. This neighborhood, while in the county, is ROUGH. It's the southern most point of Pikesville, which used to be a predominately (pretty much all) Orthodox Jewish neighborhood, but over many years has succumbed to crime and hoodlums coming in from Baltimore City, which is close by, right down Reisterstown Rd (140) past Northern Pkwy (going South). I've been to that area several times for Kosher baked goods, and my husbands family lives North of Pikesville, and most people know that once you pass the Reisterstown Plaza, it gets SKETCHY. Pikesville used to be a nice, safe community, but it's really gone by the wayside.
Prayers for her and her family. I hope she is safe.
