GUILTY MO - *GRAPHIC CONTENT* Cassidy Rainwater Kept Nude & Caged Before Brutal Attack and Dismemberment *arrests* #2

June 27, 2023 - summary of case

Its a summary, but not a full one. It doesn’t say anything about:

Who started the fire and set the explosives that destroyed the crime scene and evidence.

How and where the photos of Cassie being tortured and killed were found on the internet. Who put them there, who downloaded them

What were the killers doing with Cassies remains that had been packaged, labeled and stored in a food freezer? We’re they being advertised and sold on the internet?

What other activities were Phelps and Norton involved in on the internet and at the cabin?

What other evidence did police uncover in relation to this crime? What did they find in the cell phone and internet search records of these killers?

Did LE have any prior tips or see other activity related to this crime? We’re there other victims of these two killers, including any they may have sexually abused but didn’t kill?

Is the investigation continuing to see if there are other crimes linked to this case or to other people from that area who were involved in sex trafficking minors And selling video of those activities online?

Does LE and prosecutors plan to give a press conference and take questions from reporters?

The local news media and community leaders in SW Missouri need to speak up and demand more information, more answers, more public accountability from the people in charge of this investigation. There are far too many SW MO missing women like Cassidy who have no one really actively investigating their cases.

Maybe its time for people to request broader federal oversight and new leadership. Create a task force and report to the public. These people's lives matter. Scumbags involved in these obscene, horrific murders and the sex trafficking need to be investigated and rooted out.

I had planned to visit Branson the next time I was home. Not now.

From an article reporting on Norton's plea agreement:

...a break in the case came when an online tipster provided the FBI with several disturbing photographs that appeared to show Rainwater’s harrowing death, including the gruesome aftermath.

“The photos depicted a partially clothed female in a cage who we recognized as Cassidy,” the sheriff’s office said. “The other photos depicted Cassidy’s body bound to a gantry crane, commonly used for deer processing, and her evisceration and dismemberment.”

Why were there no charges brought against Phelps or Norton in relation to putting these horrific photographs on the internet? That's illegal. Why was there no investigation of this criminal activity?

Where was she kidnapped from? How many people were involved in her abduction/murder?

That's illegal.
Is it though? Unfortunately that type of content is all over the internet, liveleak and the like operated publicly for years. Its morally gross, but im unsure if its illegal in itself

Yes, it’s especially illegal, when the victim is being forced to participate. Even more illegal when they are murdered and dismembered on video.

The convicted killers were known to troll local shopping centers for victims, thats a possibility.

Since details of her death were sealed by the court and the accused signed plea agreements, very few details are publicly available.

Unfortunately, the probable cause statements are the only information made available to the public.

There’s also very little information about the fire that was set at the crime scene, nor of the bombs with trip wires at the location. In spite of the fact that the FBI and several other agencies were actively gathering evidence at the crime scene, someone was able to go there at night to set the buildings on fire. They never determined who the arsonists were, nor how the crime scene was left unguarded.

Court records indicate that a default judgement of $30 million has been awarded to the children of Cassidy Rainwater, the victim of a Dallas County murder that garnered national attention due to its brutal and bizarre circumstances.

The young plaintiffs received an interlocutory default judgement on Jan. 25 by Missouri 30th Judicial Circuit Judge Mike Hendrickson, who assessed the evidence in determining damages in the wrongful death case against James Phelps and Timothy Norton, who are serving life sentences for the crime

That’s not surprising. Many suspected as much. It’s believed these monsters were preying on women addicts. Once lured inside, they were locked in a cage, tortured, sexually abused and filmed.

unfortunately, the results of the police investigation will be kept from the public.
Good.
