Article from today: http://www.krtv.com/story/36255951/search-continues-for-ashleyloring-heavyrunner-of-browning

(GREAT FALLS) The search continues for Ashley Loring-HeavyRunner of Browning.

Loring is 20 years old and was last seen on Monday, June 5th, in Browning.

She is 5'2", about 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes

She was last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

Loring's sister Kimberly told KRTV several weeks ago that the police have not been keeping the family informed about what is going on in the investigation.

"I have been calling the station asking if I could talk to an officer. It has almost been three days now since I have talked to an officer and no one has called me. They want me to go down there but we are out searching," Kimberly said.

Kimberly says Loring was with friends in the Saint Mary's area when she was last seen.

The family has been posting flyers and searching the area where she was last seen, hoping to find something.

More at link.

BBM Has it been said how she became separated from her friends? What were she and her doing at the time she disappeared? "in the Saint Mary's area" is vague. Who actually saw her last?

Sister searches for young Native American woman missing for months in Montana

When Ashley Loring HeavyRunner, a 20-year-old college student, vanished from the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana this summer, her older sister Kimberly Loring thought of a promise she once made.

“When we were young, we were in the foster care system,” Kimberly Loring told ABC News. “She told me, ‘Don’t leave me,’ and I told her, ‘I would never leave you, and if you were to get moved, I will find you.’”

Kimberly Loring said she was only 8 years old when she made that promise. But 15 years later, with her sister missing for more than four months, she said it now seems more important than ever.

“I’m going to keep this promise. Wherever she goes, I’m going to find her,” Kimberly Loring said. “If I have to search my entire life, I will search until I find her.”

Ashley was asking me when I was going to come back from my trip, I was in Africa at the time," Kimberly said. After Kimberly returned home, she reached out to her 20-year-old sister but she never heard back. According to Kimberly, Ashley was last seen at a Native American Bank in Browning on June 13.

There is now an investigator from county on the case private investigators are told.
Hoping and praying that someone finally speaks to police. It may happen now and if you are close you would know why I say that. It would be in their best interest and right thing to do at this point.
Ashley family and community misses her very much We pray they can find her soon

Sounds like this is bigger than just a situation with Ashley. Hoping LE is working together which sounds like is happening. Are you implying BF may be involved in trafficking?

Ashley Loring HeavyRunner has not been seen or heard from in over six months.*Her case*is just one of many unsolved cases in Browning. Almost a year after he was found dead in the town, the FBI announced a $10,000*reward for information in the cold case of Matthew Grant. Ashley's family is worried her case could take just as long. This last year has*been hard on them.

"Ashley wouldn't stay away this long and it was so hard on Christmas," said Loxie Loring. "But I*had to have Christmas for my other daughter. I didn't want to*have it, but I did."

It's a struggle shared by other families this season.

[h=3]Eight months and still no word on missing woman[/h]
14295849_G.jpg

It's been over eight months since the family of Ashley Loring HeavyRunner has seen or heard from her. We first broke the story in June after seeing desperate posts from the family looking for any information on both Twitter and Facebook. The Blackfeet tribe has donated money for a six thousand dollar reward. And now, that reward has gone up

In a recent Facebook post from Kimberly Loring, Ashley's older sister, the Bureau of Indian Affairs added $4,000. Which brings the total up to $10,000 for information leading to her location.
