Alexis Avila’s police interrogation.
The same baby she kept referring to as "it" in her interview. So Mr. Defense attorney, tying a newborn into not one but two plastic bags and tossing him into a dumpster to suffer for about 6 long hours until by sheer luck someone heard him crying isn't "great bodily harm?"“NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico teen who threw her newborn baby in a dumpster is now asking a judge to allow her to see the boy. Her attorneys have filed a motion to review conditions of release and are asking for more than just visitation.“
Mother accused of throwing baby wants visitation rights
“Meanwhile, Avila’s defense attorneys made the case that she shouldn’t face felony child abuse with great bodily harm since the baby survived.”
So, they think she shouldn’t face charges of felony child abuse with great bodily harm, because the infant miraculously got rescued?! And she thinks she deserves visitation with the baby she considered to be trash?! I hardly know what to say.
I sure hope she doesn't! IMO this is a ploy to flesh out her original excuses to LE in order to avoid the consequences of her cold-hearted act.I have a bad feeling they are going to allow her visitation. I hope I am wrong.

If the people who rescued him hadn't been checking dumpsters that night Avila's baby would be dead and her charge would be premeditated murder. I can barely control my anger at this woman. IMO no child is safe with her.
