So twall... none of CR's other wounds were caused by the high powered rifle? Just one hit?
yes, coroner explained arm hit was by a long gun that has more velocity such as high powered/assault rifle since it was mutilated. (sorry so graphic, no disrespect to victims-just trying to explain the difference between the damage a handgun/long gun can do) All other injuries were .40 cal hollow points, same for GR.

Well Evan has gone to reporting a school shooting in Sharonville - Princeton Hi School. So I shall go ahead & post what he has.

PIKE COUNTY TRIAL: White says they found a cartridge case under the crib in Hanna Rhoden's room. This was the only casing recovered from Dana's home.

View attachment 368177

White says he saw no evidence Dana, Chris, or Hanna tried to defend themselves or get out of bed.

Canepa circles back to the cartridge case from under the crib.
It was a .22 caliber casing - had insufficient DNA on it for comparison.

He needs to come back to the trial, the school shooting is a hoax.

Wonder: How did #42 end up in the other bedroom? From outside as well or from one of the shots from the livingroom?
From outside. A high powered rifle has a lot of velocity. Ammo is large, Google an image of .30 cal rifle cartridge. MOO

And the Rimfire 22 cartridges at Dana's would be from Jake's gun. Correct? I know they'll get more into this later, just keeping it straight. Need some of those crime scene diagrams.
yes, one casing was found at Dana's, under the crib in Hanna's room.

A good article from the Dayton Daily News summarizing the testimony yesterday. JMO, they've always done very good reporting on the Rhoden Family Massacre.

Attorney John Parker argued that the prosecutors’ continued display of graphic photos depicting the victims and their wounds could prejudice the jury, because the prosecution’s case against George is predominantly about complicity; prosecutors have said George’s brother, Jake — who took a plea deal in 2021 — will testify that George was present for the murders, but never pulled a trigger.

Prosecution argued the photos are necessary for the state’s burden of proof, because they have to prove to the jury the murders occurred before they can argue whether George was complicit. The state of the victims’ bodies also proves to corroborate any statements Jake may make on the witness stand when the prosecution calls him later in the trial. As a part of the plea deal accepted by Jake — and his mother, Angela — testimony is mandatory in order to remove the death penalty specification.

Former BCI agent Bryan White back on the stand. Talking about lead fragment collected from Dana Rhoden's bed along with cell phone charger cord.

The cellphone cord on #DanaRhoden's bed they're talking about.

From Todd Dykes, who is with WLWT in Cincinnati. I'm watching him for a while until Evan comes back.

Former BCI Agent White's time on the witness stand is done. George Wagner's attorneys had no questions for him. Jury is going to take noon lunch recess. #WLWT Testimony will resume at 1 p.m. #PikeCountyMassacre

I wonder if Dana locked the door after coming home from work? She was trusting enough to leave her purse in the car. Did White mention if the car was locked or not? I can't recall.

I was wondering the same thing. It's possible she didn't lock the door. Some people who live in rural areas don't lock their doors unless they're going to be gone for a while.

Interesting the defense had no questions. They have had questions for every other witness correct? Well the ones we are able to listen to/watch.

Youtube feeds down at the moment. Anyone have a link working?

Never mind, it's back... court in session.

State recalls Dr. Looman.

Dr. Looman back on the witness stand. Will discuss the autopsies of Dana, Hanna May and Chris Jr.

Someone's car alarm w/ honking horn in parking lot. They're pausing for that.

Car alarm alert! Court halted and sound muted. So annoying!

Nash and GW4 sharing a joke and laughing, looked like G4 gave Nash a half-wink, or maybe that's something else, G4's right eyelid sort of half closed.

Starting again, with Dana's autopsy. She did all the female victims in sequence. Dana was the 3rd of the day. Hanna May was first.

Boy GWIV's attorney on the right has lost his glow of confidence. He looks down right haggard with multiple micro facial ticks while waiting on the jury to file in. All just my observations and opinion.

Dana didn't have shoes on. Side x-ray shows multiple bullet fragments. She had received 5 gunshot wounds.

Defense said they wanted to stipulate to "these" - conference with judge. JMO, Maybe they want to minimize the time the jury sees the photos of Dana. Defense objection overruled.
