I recall when the defense made that argument last year (GW4 went to protect Jake) in their motion against the DP for GW4 and the prosecution responded that the defense was cherry-picking from Jake's confession.

All I know is there's been no tweet today citing Jake testifying GW4 went along to the murder to protect him from Billy.

Perhaps when the defense cross-examines Jake it will come up but it hasn't thus far. JMO

Although we can't hear Jake making these claims in court today, I'm reading his statements that appear so matter-of-fact as if they're talking about a recipe for the 4th of July cookout, and not the annihilation of an entire family!

How frightening would it be to spend an hour with this clan? I think you'd be scarred for life.

Really chilling to think about Beth and what he said to her. I think it's easy for anyone not there to think they were blowing off steam or just joking around. Even her friend thought it was him joking when she called him for help. Who really would believe a person would just tell you they are going to do these things and NOT be joking around.. I guess with the right look on your face and a matter of fact way of saying it, she likely felt chilled to the bone and terrified.

I rational human would say, if I find out your touched my daughter, I will call the police and you will be put away for a long time.. oh but not this family. The idea of any of the kids getting touched or poisoned means immediate death sentence.

It still seems so unbelievable, but yet here we are. The W's were just so hung up and paranoid about anyone being molested.

That's as far as we've gotten thus far. The Wagners are about to walk to Frankie Rhoden's trailer. The entire family knew the plan - Angela Wagner was supposed to browse Facebook on Jake's phone left behind at home to make it appear he was still at Petersen Road. @local12

She got off too easy 30 years...IMO

Yep they did at the hearings GWIV had but changed it to he wasn't there at all, home with kids and didnt find out about the murders until the next day...according to the defense opening statement. Quite the difference in stories.

I will be curious as to what Jake says for sure!

Maybe he doesn't know who exactly did that, but he knew he went to the grow building and they were moved when he returned. Could also be that both Billy and George were in the house when he returned so he just said they moved the bodies. I guess only Billy and George knows what happened there.

He got the keys to the grow shed from Chris' body, then went and grabbed surveillance hard drive and put it in truck. Went back inside the house to grab cell phones of victims and saw the bodies had been moved and dragged into the bedroom. Covered them with blanket.

The plan was for Billy Wagner to lure Chris Sr. outside to the grow shed, and shoot him when they walked back. But George froze while carrying the SKS rifle. Billy went inside with Chris and Gary. When Chris came back to door, Jake shot him multiple times with SKS
