I was thinking the same thing! I’d love to ask him if he still thinks the way he did then. Does he still think the killings were justified, or has he changed his mind and thought process, now that he is away from his family. He mouthed, “I’m sorry”, but is he, really?

IMO, no he is not sorry for any part of these murders, he is sorry for getting caught. What kind of person mouths "I'm sorry" to the family members of the victims, and a few short minutes later grins and tries to laugh. IMO, he felt zero emotion as he replayed that horrendous night/morning in his sick head. All just my opinions.

If daggers could fly from eyes, he would have felt real pain from several of those family members, especially TR and BR. MOO.

Sounds like JW killed 5 of the 8 victims supposedly? If so then yeah he would need the plea deal to avoid DP. Just for argument sake, say GW4 really did not shoot anyone...this is best strategic move for the Ws perhaps. JW has deal to avoid DP...mommy gets her lil sentence, GW4 didn't actually shoot anyone so maybe he won't get DP, Dad only shot 3/8 (like that's better?) so maybe he won't get DP. Oh and they did not "harm" any babies.
I mean, maybe this is the plan they are hoping for here defense wise?

Jake already secured in his deal that LWOP would be the harshest sentence that any of the 4 could get. I think that GW4's strategy is still an acquittal, which was an awful strategy, imo. He should have been first in line for a deal, or even 3rd in line. But this strategy is all kinds of messed up. jmoo IANAL

So one of the tweets (and I'll go find it and edit my comment to include it) said Billy announced on the 21st that was the day. So they didn't have a set day before this, it just was decided that day then that they would commit these murders that night.

What set him off for that day? I'll have to go back and listen to Billy's rambling interview again or maybe just the YouTube transcript of it.. lol See what he mentions again for that week. Something made him decide THAT was the day.

I've missed so much of the trial. I'm trying to catch up. I read that Jake's Mom accused his ex of molesting S, and also how Jake's ex-wife escaped.

Am I understanding this correctly, she wasn't allowed to read to the children? Was that Angela's rule? What was her crazy rationale? And they kept S from grieving her Mom's death? I can't even imagine how they convinced themselves that that was okay. I thought they operated (usually) under the pretense of what was best for the children. They couldn't possibly have convinced themselves that that was healthy.

Beth’s testimony was easily the best so far. Watch it when you can. It’s riveting.

This is why I was hoping Jake would not opt out of audio/video. I wonder if Jake said they put their possesions at Chris's house. Which could mean Chris Newcombe. That would make more sense to me for some reason then storing them 15 miles away at Chris Rhoden's house. just wondering if the reporter who tweeted this actually meant for it to be Chris Sr house.

The possessions were from when they lived on Bethel Hill Rd. which was about a 15-20 minute drive to Union Hill Rd. which was where Chris Rhoden lived. So IMO Jake may have told one truth. This would have been way before these murders. MOO

I think this could be the importance of why we saw those texts between Angela and Billy. So many pieces that add up once we now have more of the puzzle.

Billy texted Angela, I have another idea. I'll see if I can find the exact messages now that we have some of Jake's testimony. He was trying to please Angela.. he wanted to leave with Angela.. I think it's possible his motive was not concern for Sophia as much as it was wanting Angela to be pleased with him. She wouldn't stop until they had Sophia and all she did was harp and hound him about how unsafe it was for Sophia..

If I understood Jake’s testimony correctly, they were waiting for an evening when the sky was overcast. Guessing that was the forecast on 4/21 but not sure.

We can't judge these monsters based on our own moral values. They aren't like us. They're criminals, through and through.

Also, I have seen this occur in a couple families; although, not nearly to this degree. But I've seen parents either expect or ask GP(s) to watch GKs while parents work. One thing leads to another, and suddenly it's as if the kids have 4 parents, with GPs saying something like "you just can't trust people these days," meaning, people outside the family. I find it all very bizarre, too, and rather unhealthy. ajmo

I followed Angenette Levy and she initially tweeted Billy proposed killing Hanna or Sophia. When others asked for confirmation, she replied that although it doesn't sound right, she checked her notes and Sophia is exactly what she wrote down. In other words, she agreed it sounds off but she did NOT revise her tweet.

Can we find tweets from a different source that clearly state Billy proposed killing Hanna or Jake (not Sophia)? TIA.

I can actually see Billy taking the position that if they were denied Sophia then nobody would have her. It doesn't follow that Billy would want Jake dead. For what? IMO, Angela would kill Billy before her golden child Jake be killed. MOO

Ok, so that is what it sounded like Jake was saying in court. But, it doesn't make sense. So, I don't believe it is true. I looked back at my notes and that is exactly what I wrote. Again, it doesn't make sense.
