You ask a child the same questions over and over they figure out what is wanted and respond in kind.
I think she's telling what S told her

These are families deprived of intelligence and culture. I was born into a poor family in a rural area, but I never heard that. Why is it always about child abuse? Maybe some kind of disguised pedophilia?
Are you speaking about the W's? I agree they are low born. Or are speaking about everyone in the area? I can assure you they are not deprived of intelligence or culture.

Was there more to Nash asking Angela question after lunch?

Nah, that's projection of Angela's issues onto EA.
EA had issues with S having pictures of Hanna May!!? I think AW is a liar, liar pants on fire!! I'm sorry EA did NOT seem like a person of that nature...of AW's nature...AJMO

Angela admitted she thought Elizabeth was a BCI plant from some of Elizabeth's questions and from Angela accusing her of going through her purse, Angela reading Elizabeth's diary/journal, and probably from other things as well.

My Point is, how do you get your son - Jake - to split up with his wife so that this "informant wife" she didn't trust would leave? A wife who could over hear their conversations then could give anything they say, anything incriminaing, over to BCI. Also I believe Angela was jealous of E's relationship with Jake's daughter and I think it was said in court they saw her as a liability. A liability to them personally, a person who could learn too much and so she wasn't included in family meetings etc...

What is the one thing that could work to get the whole family to turn against her?

Answer......

Accuse Elizabeth of a henious act against her step daughter....sexual abuse, the inappropriate touching etc...

Same could be said of Angela gaining custody of her granddaughter. What is the one most heinious accusation she could make against Hanna as a mother? That Hanna provided an environment of sexual abuse and would not protect her. Hanna dating child abusers, Frankie kissing her on the lips at age one, little Chris being rough......Tabatha's assault history as reminders to add fuel to the fire.

A very common way for people to get custody is to accuse the other party of sexual abuse.

This was Angie's MO. Of course she talked softly and meekly in court because she was lying her 🤬🤬🤬 off. She wasn't all puffed up in anger because she made this crap up.

Had any abuse truly existed Angie would have made Dr. and psychological appointments and documented everything. Angie was a hoarder when it came to saving papers and messages on computers and screen shooting everything by hacking online accounts and sneek reading diaries to find dirt and document what was said, etc....

She hacked the accounts looking for dirt on Tab and Hanna to use against them to keep custody away from them.

Had sexual abuse come up she would have jumped on that like a dog on a bone, gathered evidence, got a lawyer, went to court etc....

Jury can see through her. She egged this whole thing on. She will get out at age 78 but deserves to die in prison.

My 2 Cents

I'm realizing I forgot the 1st half of this two-part tweet. My apologies. Special Prosecutor Angela Canepa asked Angela Wagner if "you guys" believed you were getting away.. (should be 1/2)

Next at 6 on #WLWT: I'll let you know what jurors in #GeorgeWagnerIV's murder trial did NOT hear in the courtroom today. Plus, more on what George's mother said about his willingness to confess to the 2016 #PikeCountyMassacre..

Angela Wagner described the paranoia she felt after taking part in the 2016 #PikeCountyMassacre. One reason why? This news release published in 2017, after Wagner, her husband Billy & their sons, George & Jake, had moved to Alaska https://ohioattorneygeneral.gov/Media/News-Releases/June-2017/DeWine-Reader-Call-For-Tips-in-Rhoden-Murder-Inve

Decompressing after another long day for victims’ loved ones, jurors and onlookers in #GeorgeWagner’s murder trial. Thinking about why George’s mom, Angela Wagner, said she agreed to plead guilty to her role in the #PikeCountyMassacre 1/2

2/2 Wagner said she agreed to a deal b/c not only is she complicit in the deaths of 8 members of the Rhoden family, but she also hopes to be able to hug her sons, George & Jake, and two grandkids when her 30 year prison sentence (w/ no early release) comes to an end.

Learned for the 1st time today that Angela sent a letter to her mother-in-law, Fredericka Wagner, after she confessed in the #PikeCountyMassacre.. She wrote she didn’t understand two aspects of the plea deal she agreed to (involving aggravated burglary & gun specifications). 1/2

2/2 The prosecution team brought this up, likely to blunt defense efforts to skewer Angela Wagner over it (a defense attorney tried, regardless). Angela said her lawyer better helped her understand the deal during a prison visit and tried to move on w/ her testimony.

Back on Zoom with my
@Unl_CoJMC
students. So please excuse short hand. A few bits from this afternoon's #angelawagner testimony in the murder trial of her son #GeorgeWagnerIV. Prosecutor Angela Canepa finished her direct by asking Wagner why she changed her plea in 2021. 1/12

Under the terms, Wagner will serve a mandatory 30 years in prison. A tearful Wagner said that she hoped that one day she will see her sons and her grandchildren. Note: She is 52 now. So out of prison when she is 80+ 2/12

She also testified that she regretted the crimes and told her husband, George "Billy" Wagner — who plead NG and whose trial is pending — "we should have never involved them" referring to their sons, George IV, 31, and Jake, 29. Jake has testified against his brother. 3/12

Wagner admitted she was complicit in the homicides and in the burglaries, even though she stayed at the family's farmhouse on April 21-22, 2016. Canepa: "Who were you complicit with?" Wagner: "My husband and my two sons." 4/12

Wagner also admitted she wrote a letter to her mother-in-law Fredericka Wagner after she pleaded guilty in 2021 that said she didn't understand why she had to plead guilty to burglary. "I didn't understand the reason." But, she admitted that now she does. 5/12

Richard Nash, her son's defense attorney, lashed into Wagner about the letter and asked her to read it as he began his cross examination. After she was done and had tucked her reading glasses back into the pocket on her striped jail uniform ... 6/12

She also said she pleaded guilty in the agreement — which she wrote in the letter— is so that her youngest son, Jake, would not have to testify against her. 7/12

Nash: "I did not hear you (remorseful) for taking the lives of eight innocent people. Why not?" Later, he asked if she wasn't doing/saying what she had to do in order to get a lighter sentence than life or death. She said she was being truthful. 8/12

She also admitted, again, to either setting fire to, or knowing about arsons, at their three of their former homes to collect insurance money. She said she was involved in theft and that her husband used drugs, including methamphetamine. 9/12

Wagner grew agitated several times during Nash's questioning. At one point, she said a Go Fund Me account she and Jake set up to try and raise $20K to help him pay for a legal fees associated with the custody and care of his daughter was legit. 10/12

"It was not a scheme,'' she said, adding that many people set up such accounts. Nash: "So everybody ripping off people is OK?" to the chuckles of several people in the gallery. Nash: "This is tragedy you created." Wagner: "Yes, it is" 11/12

Nash continues his cross examination of her when court resumes in the morning. 12/12

It sounds like that may have been the Wagner's rationale at first, but it obviously changed later. They had no qualms about murdering CR2 and everyone else in his family. Reporting it to the hospital would have been the more sensible alternative. I'm still of the opinion that the SA didn't happen, but was trumped up as justification for mass murder.
Disgusting that this woman continues to slander the people she helped kill, when they're no longer living to defend themselves. Scum. Cell Block Tango defense.
It was quite specific but could have been a rash, AW could have turned a rash and a game into whatever. Her testimony is just shedding light on their thought process. If it's all lies what was the point. She even tossed her own brother and mother out to the lions She completed her deal, imo. She factually testified to the satisfaction of the Pros. attorneys. I haven't heard her nor seen her testify but that's my thoughts based on reading tweets and summaries.

This afternoon, Angela put her son, George, at the scene of the crime in Chris Rhoden Sr.'s home... stepping in a puddle of blood. She told jurors that footprint they've been seeing is George's. She said he told her that himself.

After that, her son's attorneys started cross-examining her. They are working to destroy her credibility for jurors. They are pointing out her plea deal... that she took it to avoid a life prison sentence... that she isn't being honest.

Defense Attorney Richard Nash made her read a letter she wrote from jail to her mother-in-law. She said she pleaded guilty to get the deal for 30 years in prison... she didn't want to risk life. She wrote, "I am so lost." and "I have lost my family.”

She said she wrote that because she didn't understand why the deal said she was guilty of some of the charges when she didn't commit the murders. However, she said now she understands why it's like that.

As she read the letter, the Rhoden family sitting in front of me rolled their eyes and some held their hand over their faces and closed their eyes. They appeared upset. The defense attorney said, "Not once did I hear any remorse for taking the lives of eight innocent people.”

The defense said you were willing to pull your own mother into an eight person homicide case.

Defense says it's no surprise she and Jake testify against George because they have to testify to the state's satisfaction to uphold their end of the plea bargains.

Hmmm, How would she know what the jury has been seeing?

FW needs to be re-arrested on charges of knowing about the murders when the other 4 Wagner’s was trying to cover them up, more for telling Angela Wagner to tell the prosecution that the shoes where bought for Billy’s Daddy, and for lying to the Grand jury’s!JMO

I absolutely agree. Anyone who had knowledge of this at any point in time and did not come forward needs to be charged. FW is one of them.

Well, she (AW) did give testimony about FW and RW knowing some things that I haven't seen posted on here. o_O:eek: All MOO.
Is that testimony in mainstream media.? I read some of AWs remarks today from Twitter reports from WCPO and Law and Crime. Is that what you read. A few things about her writing to Fred Wagner.

If there were things she testified about FW and RW, why hasnt that been included in regular media? Just curious.

ETA I’ve been so busy and unable to follow a lot of the testimony during court this week.

There is A LOT not in MSM and I don't know why. There have been very few tweets today for what 5-6 hours on the stand and 2 of that was cross examination. It's sad. There have been plenty of people in the courtroom today giving summaries and speaking about what was said. I wish we had someone here that has been in the court room. :( I am not super good with twitter, but if we could @ someone in the news and ask questions to get them to tweet what has already be reported elsewhere maybe then we can post it here?

Okay found some good info here from Angela's testimony today.

Billy's mother "had a very big crying episode" over the idea of Billy moving with the family, Angela said. Fredericka offered to pay Angela $1,000 a month if the family stayed in Ohio, but Angela declined, she said.

When agents detained and questioned the family at the U.S. and Canadian border on their way back from Alaska, Angela admitted she was caught off guard by questions about the Walmart shoes she'd purchased. She said she didn't remember that she'd left the receipt for the shoes behind; Fredericka later offered to lie and tell investigators the shoes were bought for Billy's dad, but Angela said she declined because she'd already lied to officers about them.

Around the same time this was happening, Billy, George and Jake were subpoenaed by BCI to come in and submit to "something with their feet," said Angela. Canepa said they were made to provide foot measurements and foam impressions of their feet.

Angela said she spoke to George about it, asking what happened because she was worried. She knew there were bloody footprints left at one of the crime scenes, she said, because George had told her he'd attempted to smudge them, but Billy hurried him out of the room too quickly, telling him "don't worry about it, come on."

Asked whether she'd ever seen the pick-up truck George, Jake and Billy bought for the murders again after April 22, 2016, Angela said she had, once, at the Flying W Farm. Billy's niece, whom he'd given the truck after the homicides, was at the farm to photograph horses for Billy's sister, Robin. While Katie was there, Angela said her husband got a bucket of bleach water and cleaned the whole interior; when Fredericka asked what he was doing, he told his mother he was detailing the truck for his niece.

It could be in MS media, I really haven't been following any. You would have to ask them why they cherry pick excerpts as I haven't a clue. No, it was day one of AW's testimony not today, nor in writing via a letter.

It is hard to follow from MS tweets I would imagine.
