But imagine her being released to nothing and nobody. I'm sure by then her mother will be gone. Her brother wants nothing to do with her, her husband and sons are locked up, she will have no assets, not home, not family, and most certainty not no grandchildren in her life. She will be locked up in her head still because everything she loved will still be gone and he will have freedom, but really no life and she will have the ability to see how everyone and everything went on without her. Maybe that is a little bit of justice right there. We can be "Free" and still not be free. We can be locked up and be more free than at any point when we were free. I think for each person it's different and for her what she valued most will be not only gone because she is locked up, but gone because they choose not to be around her. That might just be more punishment than prison is.
Angela won't even be able to make a living with no real work history, a prison record, no skills or education--and no kids to take care of her. She'd be better off in prison. And while I don't for one minute think she meant it when she implied there was no way to "get away" with this crime or other crimes, in a way she is right: wherever she goes, she will be the woman who conspired to murder 8 people so she could have her granddaughter to herself.

I've said a few times now: George is not grasping what "conspiracy" is. Whereas, seems AW has finally accepted that.
JMO
The jurors have to grasp the definition of conspiracy to convict as that's what George is charged with.
I think this is right. George (and Jake, maybe) seemed to think that not being a shooter would get him an acquittal.

I think he's sunk. She feels great remorse of the loss of her boys and their days before girls all got involved. She tried so hard to shield them from the world and its evils. (This is just how all the takes are reading in my mind right now
Maybe in her twisted mind she was "shielding" George and Jake. But this isolation of her own children occurred within the context of raising them to be criminals. So I'm not buying what she's selling. She isolated those boys to keep them in her control and in Billy's control. They were raised to lie, cheat, steal and commit arson. It would have been a lot harder to do that--to raise a pair of criminals--if they were encountering honest, normal people in school, in a neighborhood, play8ing on sports teams and on the kind of jobs teenagers get. She wasn't "shielding" them from wives and girlfriends that she ran off the farm with threats and forms of abuse. She wasn't "shielding" them from being responsible co-parents who respect the rights of the mothers of their kids.

I actually can see George saying that. When we listen to him on those tapes he is going on and on and on. He might be quite and seem reserved in court, but on those tapes he was screaming at Bulvine, he was blabbing away to his mother about BCI following him. I believe it was Jake that said they tried to clean up that blood. I think they knew prints were left and it wouldn't surprise me if George told his mother that it was his. We heard Tabatah say she would leave the room so Angela could come in and rub his back and talk about his day. I think George and Angela were close. I think both her boys were close with her.

As for her other statements. I don't know that she is lying, I think what she says is a load of crap, but it very well could be the load of crap she believes. I posted earlier today that it doesn't make sense to us, but somehow they got to the point of murdering 8 people. She justified it somehow in her head. It's possible she believes everything she is saying. So I don't know that lying is the right word for her testimony.

I think she could have "lied" in many other ways by saying they told her who killed who, or who did what. She didn't do that. I think George saying the print was his could have happened because that was in the news and he liked to talk to his momma.

As for him saying he could take the blame, I can see that too. Remember Beth saying they talked about different scenarios. if so and so and so and so are arrested, we do this, who gets the kids, etc. I could see part of that being, what if I just take the blame? Then discussion about how that wouldn't work and they move on. To be fair the prosecution wasn't likely asking if Jake made incriminating statements or if Billy did, etc. We don't know that they didn't discuses each of them taking the blame at some point.
Like Jake, I think Angela tells the truth about the basics of the conspiracy (the planning, the coverup, especially) and her own participation. I think her narcissism makes it impossible for her to convey "truth" about other people and relationships. To her, her sons' wives and GFs weren't fully human; she could rob them of their children or their lives to get what she wants. I'm like a broken record here. I do believe the important parts of her testimony (that all three men were involved with the killings, that George knew he left a footprint, etc.). But the whole child sexual abuse thing? Just a tool to get the grandkids away from their mothers--just as the murders were to get Sophia away from Hanna. And Hanna knew that's what Angela wanted. I think we can believe those things that bolster the other evidence we have against them (the footprints, the casings, the guns, the audiotapes, the murder truck, etc.). Where we can't believe her is about her motives or her interpretations of the actions of people outside her family or her view of the wider world.

Hmm. So someone here has been in the courtroom but they don't want to share? Am I reading this correctly?

Then his face, at first just ghostly
Turned a whiter shade of pale
She said “They said there is no reason”
The truth is plain to see…

Apparently G4 had no appetite after hearing Mom Angela’s testimony.
He refused his dinner tray.

To be a fly on the wall at that lawyer/criminal client conference.
That feeling you get when your own mom's testimony is going to send you to prison for the rest of your life. You suddenly realize you are really screwed. Yeah, I can see why he has no appetite.

FW needs to be re-arrested on charges of knowing about the murders when the other 4 Wagner’s was trying to cover them up, more for telling Angela Wagner to tell the prosecution that the shoes where bought for Billy’s Daddy, and for lying to the Grand jury’s!JMO
Everyone involved in this case needs to be charged and thrown into prison.

He's still looking at death. She would rather turn of GW and BW than have JW testify against her. That says a lot about how she feels about GW and BW

She thinks if she makes it out her grandchildren will want to have something to do with her. They will both be adults and have a full understanding of what she did to their mothers.

IMO, deduct 4 years (or more) from the 30 years.
I thought this is what the prosecution and defense agreed to. But the judge did not have to honor it, he could sentence her to more or less time. I thought the judge even brought this up at her change of plea court date? I COULD BE WRONG.

Let hope the judge changes it to 30 years to life that way after 30 years she can still be turned down for parole. JMO

IMO, this family is a generational crime family; in one way or another.

There is A LOT not in MSM and I don't know why. There have been very few tweets today for what 5-6 hours on the stand and 2 of that was cross examination. It's sad. There have been plenty of people in the courtroom today giving summaries and speaking about what was said. I wish we had someone here that has been in the court room. :( I am not super good with twitter, but if we could @ someone in the news and ask questions to get them to tweet what has already be reported elsewhere maybe then we can post it here?

Thanks for the info. If nothing else, maybe we can ask the reporters questions on Twitter to verify some of this testimony. I hope they're not avoiding reporting on anything that implicates others who knew about the killers activities and either did nothing or helped cover up.

@monroetrombly is a breaking news/trending reporter (according to his bio) and has provided a few more tidbits than others I've seen.

I'm not sure if we're allowed to post just anyone's twitter posts. I don't wanna end up in WS jail.
