He's 6'3" and I'm 5 feet even. He takes his size after my dad's family. Mom's dad was 5 feet. Cherokee's are so short.

Back in the day, the 70's mostly Tanglewood also held popular concerts, like The Who, Santana, Jethro Tull, Chicago, etc. Those were stopped quite a few years ago now although we still have James Taylor who lives nearby and always plays there every summer (his current wife worked for the Boston symphony).

When I was a teen two of my faves to hear were James Taylor and Carly Simon. He also performed with Joni Mitchell and Carole King a lot back then at Tanglewood and the Music Inn in the Berkshires. A bunch of us would go on Tuesday nights (cause the weekends were for the symphony). It was close to home and safe-we'd sit on the beautiful lawn overlooking the Stockbridge Bowl and listen to great music.

I also like classical music and my same friends would often get together and go to the Sunday afternoon concerts. I mean, we weren't going to go to the symphony on a weekend night! And now we've been bringing our boys to those concerts.

But my kids are never going to go to concerts like this that I attended when I wasn't even a teenager cause I had a super cool older cousin with a convertible!

I loved, loved, loved seeing James at Tanglewood. He performed last night in Boston at a concert to support the victims of the bombings. I hope they haven't aired it yet on tv. He spoke about the lyrics of SBJ just today on HLN.
PS- I saw my very first JT concert with Carole King in 1971 at MSG. I was a mere child.

It would be nice if he is picked and it is a long trial and they are sequestered. That way he will totally miss JA's trial and cannot Tweet. jmo

Its good to see so many of you! I don't post often but give lots of thanks for all the great posters who say everything I feel. It's been great following here with all of you.

This is me and my oldest son 2 years ago at his wedding, proud Army Mom here.
 
I only read very briefly about it back when the Arias case first started. But what I read seemed to indicate there was no real evidence against her and she had no reason to have her son killed and it just didn't seem as likely than the alternative, that bad guys were involved and it had nothing to do with the Mom.

I want to read some more though before I cement my mind as my mind cement seems to harden quickly these days...

And the state's appeal of that decision was denied.

i think she was wrongly convicted. While I cannot be completely sure of imnocence, conviction based on the testimony of a cop with that kind of known history, and no other evidence, was just wrong. I think it is incredibly spiteful of the state to have her still sitting in prison

No joke: I just got called for jury duty at Maricopa County Superior Court on July 18, the day Jodi Arias is supposed to go back to trial.

Saw them a few years ago at UT Austin with my son. I had never heard of them. My son was a student there and told me about them and asked me to come on up. WOW!! What a trip! They were great. I think there are different musicians on tour playing under the Trans Siberian name. Don't know much about about that but it was a wonderful show.

He is 38 but looks maybe late 20s with a beautiful complexion and dark eyes.

He looks nothing like his mom though but that's ok.:) I always say I have to keep his birth certificate handy to prove he is mine.:floorlaugh: He looks like his dad.

Hi all!
I lurke lots, dont post too much .......yet.
hubby joining soon so that will help.
anyway, my grandson wears his hair long sometimes the shaves it off for football. He has a beautiful dark thick head of hair! Slightly wavy too.
then he shaves it off and it shows off his features better!
I cant decide what looks best
He doesnt care.....just get football going!
