I've seen it before...several times...in generational poverty families...and also in a child whose mom had severe mental health issues... No dental care...poor eating habits...bottles with pop/juice.I've never seen silver caps on such a young child. I'm guessing the mother's boyfriend knocked Breonna's teeth out, too.
I was searching for updates on this case and found this article. It appears Jason Delacerda, Breonna's murderer, is set to go to trial on July 27, 2013. The article, which recaps upcoming trials for 2013 was posted in January of this year, but it was the only story I could find that had a trial date of any sort. I'll post more if I find any additional updates.

I want to stay vigilant as the trials of Delacerda and Breonna's mother (if you could call her that) proceed.
Thanks for posting, couldn't understand the racing link. Did find this that confirms a whole lot of nothing posted today.

The Hardin County capital murder case was reset last week. The Hardin County criminal deputy clerk did not know when the trial would be rescheduled.
The state plans to seek the death penalty against Delacerda.
Amanda Nichole Guidry, Breonna's mother, is set for trial on a capital murder charge later in the spring.
The Hardin County grand jury has indicted a woman and her boyfriend on charges of Capital Murder in the death of her 4-year-old daughter, and the District Attorney says he'll seek the death penalty against the boyfriend, Jason Wade Delacerda, 34.
District Attorney David Sheffield told KFDM News he's reviewing evidence before deciding whether to seek the death penalty against Amanda Nicole Guidry, 30, the mother of Breonna Loftin.

Sheffield says no bond will be set for Guidry or Delacerda since the charges have been upgraded.
Sheffield says the evidence they have collected so far about 4-year-old Breonna Loftin's death is worthy of the death penalty.
"We're going to seek the death penalty in this case because justice for the sadistic torture and death of this child demands it," said Sheffield.
