And DV’s car was captured around 3pm near a shopping mall, iirc.

I wish we had flight info for BB. I’d like to see her actually boarding & the plane taking off, lol. I guess LE is certain she did in fact travel.

I think it's just about the people who were in the courtroom. They are just there waiting to appear in front of the judge, I think. Imo

Or an off-brand gas station. Because he would also FILL IT WITH GAS

And they will have video of "someone" at the pump filling the gas can in the silver Nissan......

I guess court procedure is new to him. Possibly he’s dumb enough he thought LE would take his word for things & that’d be the end of it.
I think he’s not hugely popular out of custody.

Oh yeah. Our convenience stores are gas stations.
Sure hope the store/station hears the request & responds.
Maybe that would give LE a direction. I think M can be found. That little bit of gas wouldn’t be enough to get a good fire going, imo. The ground was likely damp, if not saturated. Maybe he only had sheets & towels to burn & disposed of M in a dif manner.
Tell me BB will not be visiting him tomorrow....

I wonder what time DV dropped and picked his son up from daycare on the 3rd.
Just odd that the son would be with him in the early afternoon if he'd gone to daycare, but the daycare says that he picked him up.
I wonder if he dropped him off to finish cleaning his mess...which also means that if M was in that basket, she was in that apt for a couple of days. That makes me sad.

He's lazy. Probably left the body in a dumpster, sadly it would be in the landfill now, and those are so difficult to search. Maybe they can trace where the car was, and if it stopped for a period of time and find her that way.

    You're welcome. :)

I didn't get to do 1/2 of what I wanted with it because of the way these threads have been moving and all the recent developments. I was hoping to fine tune it some more but I just plain ran out of time. It was either this or start the next thread with the last one...:(

You know what LE hasn't mentioned, or maybe I've just missed it. Cell phone records/pings. We know he has a cell phone, he communicated with BB while she was gone to the funeral. Odd right? Maybe the one thing he did do right was disable his phone during all this?

I thought when they arrested you ( at least up here in the mertoplex) they take your personal effects and things? Several of the men in there were wearing watches. And in street clothes.

And for a public defender who knows jack about you to want to say what a good man he was for working the last six months at a warehouse and wa s a local resident most of his life....grrrr

Vence appeared in court later that evening, standing before Judge Courtney St. Julian in a black sweatshirt while the information contained in that arrest warrant was read to him.

In the warrant, which KHOU 11 has not yet obtained, Houston police investigators outlined how Vence was seen on a neighbor's security camera the day before Maleah was reported missing carrying a blue laundry basket and a large trash bag out of their apartment. They said he was also seen carrying cleaning supplies, including bleach.

The day after she was reported missing, detectives went into the apartment and saw drops of blood on the carpet near the bathroom, detectives said in the warrant.

When the car Vence was reportedly driving at the time he claimed he was attacked was found on Friday, a laundry basket was found inside. Police K-9 dogs at the scene reacted to the trunk of the car, indicating that the dogs were responding to the scent of human decomposition.

A court-appointed attorney requested Vence's bond be set at $5,000, however the judge said that due to the nature of the case and a "significant concern that Mr. Vence will not appear in court," she set his bond at $1 million.

Vence's case was assigned to Judge DaSean Jones, 180th District Court.

Judge sets $1 million bond for stepfather charged in Maleah Davis disappearance

ETA: Very impressed with Judge St Julian! DV case assigned to Judge DaSean Jones -- newly elected Nov 2018.

    Super odd.
LE could still be collecting the data/pings and phone records or perhaps they aren’t releasing what they know yet. Or he had a burner phone. IDK, but phone and GPS info from the car will definitely be helpful.

Did anyone get address of where DVwas arrested?

I have heard of cases where evidence has been destroyed by burning in big barrel type trash bins. That is usually only allowed in certain areas, country, possibly trailer parks?

I’ve seen one of DV’s music videos that appears to be mobile home.

Surely leaving would have searched the location he was picked up, (his brothers) for evidence?
