Kudos to whoever backed up that Transit van like a boss. I have the same van and it's so hard to back up. LOL.
It will have been a woman hehe

It was reported they’re bringing in a specialist who is 360 miles away & he won’t be there until tomorrow
I don't believe that for one moment. He let his feelings about his past with his 'toxic' ex wife influence his judgment.LE use this technique to get people to admit things by allowing the subject to feel like what they did isn't so bad.
My brother lived in Idaho, he died of a heart attack deep in wild country while dirt biking. A friend immediately notified LE, it took a day to bring him down off the mountain, 2 more days for the coroner to do an autopsy. It was my understanding that in these more rural states they don’t have as many corners as in densely populated cities and we had t0 wait till he was available and could travel to where my brother wasI'm wondering why the coroner is waiting to do the autopsy tomorrow.
Not assault if it was in self defense. JMO
Gabby actually demonstrates the assault for the officer. Was this actually reported somewhere?
No, the caller saw HIM hitting HER. He said it several times. BL hit GP

I've been reading backwards to catch up.My sentiments exactly. Are they briefed? Are they privy to the call itself before assignment?
Here is the 911 call while they were in Moab.
Seems Brian was hitting Gabby. Not the other way around

Yes. Tuesday 9/21 @ 1pm. I should have been specific when I posted. I'm sorry.Tomorrow??
I think its worth going through the motions to prove he did return to FL, I am not taking the parents word for any of this right now.I think they took it precisely to see if he's ever driven it and whose fingerprints are on the steering wheel/gear lever. How much of Brian's DNA is in it? Should be plenty of touch DNA on the wheel if he drove it recently.
If it's all Dad's (or Mom's) DNA, that's an entire 'nuther issue.
I am beginning to think Brian never came back to FL at all, giving him quite the head start.
OTOH, perhaps he did and the swamp ruse was to give him a chance to run elsewhere.

At the very least they should be told not to sympathize with one party and bring their personal experiences into the mix.Yeah, I'm sure those officers feel horrible now. A few posters suggested they should receive better training in recognizing victims of DV and they're probably right. Imo
