I was happy to see that she had put a little bit of makeup on etc. To me it was a sign that she was feeling maybe the slight bit better and perhaps coming out of the shocked stage a bit. Some of the comments judging her about wearing makeup etc. are just deplorable. IMO, people who make such judgemental comments like that are just plain ignorant and probable very unhappy.
Me too, sometimes a little self care goes a long way in having the strength to get through. Its a small bit of normality in a very abnormal situation. What is wrong with people criticising her

This entire investigation seems to be so hapless. I can't imagine how frustrated Savannah must be. It feels to me like her sister and brother in law must have something to do with this, based partly on how they behaved immediately after it happened, and partly on his gambling debts, as well as him being the last one to see her alive. Does anyone know---are they staying nearby? I read that they left their house last week.
Does the SIL have gambling debts? Can you provide a link? Thank you.

How is it possible that the feds can’t track down the sender of the emails? We are focused on the “recovered” video footage. Also what about the roof camera?

In your opinion, if the ransom is paid, NG is released, and the kidnappers get away with millions in bitcoin, would this trigger a wave of copycat kidnappings in the USA?

The Federal Bureau Of Investigation (FBI) stated that it has received over 13,000 tips since February 1. Meanwhile, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it has handled at least 18,000 calls related to the case

Nancy's longtime friend, Jacqueline Sharkey, described the 84-year-old as a steady, unifying presence in the groups she belongs to, including her church and local advocacy organizations. Speaking on CNN's AC360, Sharkey said Guthrie’s disappearance has created a “tremendous tear in the fabric of the community

Authorities have employed a high-tech Bluetooth scanner mounted on the undersides of law enforcement helicopters to detect Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker signal, Fox News report noted, adding that the helicopters typically fly at low altitudes in grid patterns and at a slow speed to capture these signals.

Maybe in Pima county in Arizona.

For me, to answer that is difficult because, sadly, I do not believe Ms Guthrie is still with us...so, imo, it won't happen.

Hypothetically, naturally it'll set a precedent and I'd imagine it will be copied to some extent. Where I live, USA is already viewed as crime ridden so, it'll just be one more variant of society.

For those who may have (mistakenly) claimed the Sheriff has cleared NG's family members (e.g., AG & SIL) I disagree.

Consider the following:

I think the Sheriff is a bit 'old school'. Doing things his own way and 'no one' is going to stand in his way. They had 4,000 leads in 24 hours after surveillance footage was released. I hope they are using AI on some of it to 'knit' things together.

I think it's too hard to hold hostages and it takes an enterprise. Also, kidnap and murder? in the U.S. means a possible death sentence.

Why would NG bleed and why would blood be outside? Carried out in a poorly sealed tarp? Confronted someone at the door? Blood placed there? Probably the biggest risk of perp getting noticed was her screaming or someone hearing a gun shot. Perhaps the gun worn in front was so it could be seen to instill fear. Gloves under gloves provides no dexterity or ability to shoot. That’s why he didn’t cover the camera with tape. he had to grab something he could manage. Then he probably just pushed it off. it possibly kept recording because he didn’t have the ability to remove the battery. So therefore his only purpose was to grab her and carry her out or make her walk out.

I don’t think she would have walked out silently. I think she was likely knocked out/stunned inside by someone other than door camera man and then he has helped remove her after disabling the camera. I think the blood drops are from either her nose or a head injury as she was carried out. Obviously all JMO

This shocks me. It should not take this long or be this difficult. They need to build a relationships with tech.

I think I watched that 2 days ago and it had not long been uploaded, so... recent.

Do you have an opinion what that story is ?

Mine is that because he doesn't perform well in interview/presser situations and because he's previously mis-spoken and been criticised... he is highly vigilant over what he's saying so I can't read him. What I see is him thinking hard how to phrase what he needs to say. I also think he has a reasonably expressive face so I expect eye darting and head movements. Just what I see.

Forgive me, my brain's so overloaded. What is significant about January 11th?
If you open that x link it says “The crucial times are from 10 p.m. on January 11 to 1 a.m. on January 12 and from 11 p.m. on January 31 to 4 a.m. on February 1. This footage could be critical to the investigation, authorities said.”

A message from Ring neighbors app earlier this week listed the Jan 11 date but then LE said that the message wasn’t from officials and was from someone random, and to look for Jan 1-Feb 2. Now it seems like they actually were interested in Jan 11 specifically. Could be someone casing NG’s house or something like that, imo.

  • #29,857
Is the house that was raided last night within this perimeter?
Yes, but it’s so close to NG’s house that it wouldn’t make sense not to be included. AG and SIL’s house is also within the perimeter. MOO

I don't know whether any of the band members are involved or not but I do know that their music is horrible.
This made me laugh..and I have to agree..

This⬆️⬆️ has been weighing on my mind for days. I feel that, no matter the outcome of this case, it may prompt some to consider this idea. Abduction seems all too common these days. Children and adults go missing. FBI crime data shows almost 2,300 people are reported missing every day in the US. While 98% of these cases are resolved quickly, 2% are not.
Common reasons for reported disappearances include runaways, parental abductions, and individuals with cognitive impairments or mental health crises.

Do we know what advocacy groups she was in? Could that have triggered somebody? First I'm hearing of this.
