Per this article, NM's life appears to have been on a downward cycle professionally and personally.
"Momeni’s phone number also appears on a website commonly used by sex workers to warn one another of dangerous or problematic clients. The comments are anonymous and cannot be verified, but comments left about the phone number associated with Momeni appeared long before he became a public figure — as far back as 2017, and as recently as December, 2022."

100% agree. The benefit of full access and disclosure is an immeasurable safety tool. I was just imagining how many people/users/customers suddenly realized their phone number is on those sites and got new phone numbers after reading the article? Or even worse...using an employer provided cell phone number!! Technology is changing the world.
My entire life, at its end, will be an accumulation of data stored on a NAS system.

Life...it was murder not manslaughter ...imo, and should have been 1st degree and not 2nd degree.
I think he will get 30 years with possibility of parole.
Not enough imo.

So this will be his third defense lawyer(s). First one quit (just before she was fired, IMO), and then the high-powered Florida attorney who represented NM during his trial, and now this new appellate defense team.

Looking forward to the June sentencing. I doubt he will win on appeal.

@Sundog, thanks for pointing out about it being his third representation, hadn't thought of that myself. Doesnt surprise me though, he apparently comes from entitlement [its his right too]. Agree he will not win on appeal.

Agree, he comes from entitlement, and the deep pockets of his sister's husband. They'll keep going until they run out of appeals.

I assume that Bob Lee's famiy will be filing a civil lawsuit against NM, once the sentencing is handed down. I wonder if they will also look into filing a civil lawsuit against the sister and if there are any legal grounds to do so. Seems to me there was a cover up before NM was arrested.
