Yeah, hard to tell. There are so many types of blue devils you have the college mascot one and the Japanese version also the old time comic one. Here are just a few examples of some styles. The one on the doe looks old tho due to the blurring so the style would be different than say blue devil done today.

I am a huge hockey fan (Atlanta Flames) when I was in grade school.
The Babes If Winter is a good read for hockey fans.

Oops, I am an artist though, I have a number of projects I'm working on.

It's np. I live locally where he was found so ai feel like I need to help much as I can. I don't think it's a hockey thing. I don't know hockey well. I think duke is blue devils but also the old DC comics had that character and in old Japanese folklore there is tell of a blue demon that looks similar and they are all kinda put in one basket in tattooing. Think just because they can look so similar. He also had a peacock tattoo and what looks like a cardinals mascot except the bird had hands. It's cartoon like and simple (prison or home) ade.

The director of operations at the medical examiner's office emailed me this morn and said he found someone in house that began putting the poor quality photos of the other tattoos on paper into drawing form for us. I offered the GBI assistance which he still had request info for but luckily a co worker is quite the artist lol. He said the other photos didn't come out well at all but he did describe the cardinal tattoo to me in detail. We discussed the case on the phone for approx an hr last night. Oh almost forgot....

Cardinal tattoo was described at cartoon like, mascot like. Bird with hands extended (yes had hands) he also had a peacock tattoo with the wings down not flared open. The coyote tattoo with wings was actually a peacock. This is the medical examiner's opinion. It's old and faded with a laceration thru it.

I'm with your husband. Google green goblin, ignore all the pictures of William Dafoe, and you can see a resemblance. There's something funky on the sides but I don't see wings.

Definitely could be. The coyote with wings isn't shown it's being sketched by artist for us. Think 2-3 other tattoos. The picture angles was just really bad.
