So on that site...one commenter said that he thought Tia was left in the street on purpose to be found. That would make sense if the guys who found her saw a car driving away. Maybe the person in that truck was either 1. waiting for her to die or 2. waiting for someone else to come along. Did she have her cell phone with her?

Ok, but it was on a dead end street, which would indicate lower speed of the vehicle.

My opinion she got into a vehicle and from there her only way out of the bad situtation she was in was to open the door and fall on to the pavement..I don't know its so sad..

That happened out here about 10 minutes from my house. The dragee was such a mess that they couldn't identify her. They found a photo near the body and that's how they found who she was and who did it to her. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-09-19-dragging-death_x.htm

First, let me say I am not blaming Tia for what happened to her, but I found this odd-

Most people fall all over themselves to say something about a former worker's death.

Jannuncutt, I can only speculate that Knoxx took the opportunity from this case to mention how biased the media is about "reverse hate crimes"?

Just a guess.

Meanwhile, vowels? Maybe someone named Costello murdered the poor woman? Are we to speculate Italians killed the woman or Latino's?

Who gives a flyin what the persons name ends with or begins with as long as they catch them and prosecute them and lock them up.

I agree with Annie, that just seemed pretty cold to me. Other coworkers said nice things in later articles, though.
Sounds like she was trying to avoid driving drunk, by not bringing her car, and ended up taking a ride with someone else.
I too think damage to her ear and shoulder were caused by the pavement. I wonder if there's any chance this was a hit and run, and she was never in the car at all.
All I can hope is that when it happened, she was feeling no pain.
