GUILTY IN - Nina Keown, 26, Scott County, 7 Aug 2010

This woman is still missing, dispite all the local search efforts to find her. She was last seen in a very rural area. It is looking like her ex is involved. This is a mother with young children.

Very Small article about him being moved to Clark County

Last I heard sherriffs office were asking people not to come search as they had some group from up north in search..Haven't heard if they are still actively searching and still not heard anything about a description for the vehicle.

Clark County court officials said his probation on a 2007 theft and robbery charge was violated because of a 2010 battery charge against his ex-wife, Nina Keown, in Scott County.

Rupert Strawbridge II, the parole officer who revoked Petty's probation, said Petty's violation in Clark County could keep him behind bars for quite some time.

"So, I am glad that he is off the streets. I know where he is and rest assured, he is safe with us," Strawbridge said. "It's a bad situation what's going on in Scottsburg, but now he's here and everybody knows where he is."

So far, no charges have been filed regarding the disappearance of Keown.

and dear Mr. parole officer, had you picked him up on that parole violation sooner,

maybe Nina would be safe NOW

Another ____________ that should have been in jail instead of free to offend the innocent.

There has GOT to be a way for this madness to stop. The lawyering up, the shutting up of the mouth when a VICTIM is missing and you were the last person to be with that victim, the lame excuses that defense attorneys come up with for their "client" it all has to stop. No one is accountable for their own actions anymore. And there's always an excuse.
Here we have an ex-wife that was supposed to be in court on behalf of the prosecution, and surprise, surprise, she mysteriously disappears and the last one to see her is that idiot. So Nina is missing, they don't want anyone to search, and her diisappearance is worth $500- $500- lousy bucks. Where are her friends and family?

No new news, 2 children without a mother, and that criminal is getting 3 hots, a cot and an attorney telling him to shutty uppy all at the taxpayer's expense. The whole thing is disgusting.

Carmichael read the terms of his probation, which included not violating any criminal law and reporting any arrest to his probation officer. She asked if he understood the charges.

“No, I done what I was supposed to,” Petty responded, later saying he understood what he was accused of doing.
