Me too. However, if it is a film of her committing the assault, I find it hard to believe that LE would show this kind of hard evidence to the perp's family.

I agree no way would LE show MH's family a video of the crime that was committed.

He has misspoken often. Remember he was talking in past tense about MH? Personally, I'm digusted with him as well. He talks too much and seems to be concerned for only his family.

SS Thank you for starting this one.AS to the question about Sandra being drugged by MH. I have a guy at work that lives 6 blocks from the MHP.Who his MIL has co workers that live in the MHP.He told me about Sandra being drugged on Friday Morning before MH was arrested.I sent the PM to SS with her telling me she would not say a word in case it was false. He even told me to brace myself as a the Grand Daughter of the Pastor did this.
On Monday which SS can also confirm he told me that Sandra was Raped and Molested before she died.Something else that you can take for what is worth. When we hear what the Autospy comes out. We will find out Sandra had drugs in her system again.

We are hearing that the camera was set up becuase of the Cat trappings.I found out that the camera was placed 6 months ago when Sandra was being called for dinner and did not respond. The Bldg. I have found since I sent the PM was behind the Mobile home they lived in.And because Sandra had gond to Melissa's house to play among other freinds that day. No one had any proof who drugged her.

I believe what your contact told you about the knowledge they had beforehand. I seriously believe that LE knew or strongly suspected MH before her interview with the press that "hung" her. They had round the clock guards stationed at her hospital room after she swallowed the blades. This is not typical for a suicide attempt. I unfortunately, know a person who attempted suicide. Social services were called out to speak to the family about counseling. Police were involved in the initial report, but they did NOT maintain a round the clock watch.

If the word film was used, doesn't it denote something other than video as in TV news?

If she was involved in making a snuff film, someone else would most likely be involved with her, although not in the kidnapping or murder.

The bed was taken out of the church, not the shed.

A camera could have been imbedded in the ceiling so as not to be conspicuous, say by a light, and it could be left there if this was an ongoing operation. In other words, there would have to have been some organization to the making of the film, acquiring a victim, possible clothing to be worn, etc.

What a cunundrum. We don't know enough yet about this. But it is amazing to have this info come out today, that parents are now going to TPD with info about MH possibly doing this.

By "film" I took him to mean her mugshot photo. The fact that the family released another, more normal photo of MH around the time they made that statement bolsters that feeling for me.

I'm sure LE's interrogation of MH would have been videotaped. Word has it that she changed her story 4 times. Is there any chance a snippet of that might have been shown to MH's family, and that was the film BL was referring to as "that's not my daughter"?

Considering the facts that MH was charged with rape, LE was searching the church roof, and videotapes could have been the object in at least 2 manila envelopes that LE took during the 3rd search of the church, I think child *advertiser censored* is a real possibility.

But of course, that's just a rumor at this point.

So, I only have the basic cell phone without a camera. Can someone please explain how photos are taken and sent? Do phone tracings tell what is transmitted like a text, photo or just talking?

I keep thinking of the opportunities MH had with little children. Taking them to the potty, quick snap photo, ugh just ugh.

It could be nothing -- normal childhood anger at parents (not letting her go to the movies, etc). But, it could be very, very significant if indeed this was not the first time Sandra was sexually abused.

I have the same question. Also, I read somewhere that Sandra was discussing going to church and / or the movies on that Friday night with her sisters. Was going to church on Fridays usual for her, was it THE church where the assault was commited? It struck me as very strange....

The improbable similarities have created inevitable confusion.

News crews keep calling or approaching Melissa Huckaby of Manteca looking for the woman accused of killing 8-year-old Sandra Cantu. And so many people posted threatening messages on her MySpace page that the misidentified Huckaby says she canceled her account.

"I get death threats all the time," Manteca's Huckaby told the Tracy Press. "I've had news vans at my house. My picture has been all over the media. I'm honestly scared for my safety."

Her relatives say the arrest of the Tracy woman have put an unwelcome spotlight on them, too. Pat Huckaby, an uncle who lives in Tracy, said his three sons dread going back to school after spring break because of their locally infamous surname.

She and her parents, with whom she lives along with her children, said they are speaking out about their ordeal in hopes of clearing up the matter.

"All it takes is for one person to take matters into their own hands," Cyndi Huckaby told the Press, of the unfortunate coincidences between her daughter and Sandra's alleged killer. "All of a sudden our lives are turned around. And it's not our fault."

Huckaby, the murder suspect, is being held without bail at a San Joaquin County jail.

Meanwhile, the other Huckaby said she has spoken to co-workers, the staff at her children's daycare and members of her church about the situation.

"So everyone in my life knows about the mix-up," she told the Press. "I just want everyone else in the country to know."

I would also like to know more about certain family members. I am still trying to find out whether Judy Lawless is Melissa's mother OR her stepmom.
I have seen several stories that refer to her as Melissa's stepmother, but I am having a hard time finding a solid source to confirm that.

BTW, isn't MH's daughter staying with Brian and Judy Lawless? She's not staying with John Huckaby and his wife, is she???
I thought he was out of the picture in Kansas or something like that...

I think the "step-mom" comes from the remarriage of MH's ex-husband so it relates to MH's daughter and not MH herself.

This has never been clarified. The grandfather reportedly said Sandra came home to ask to go to the movies and the girls were planning on going to a church that night for bible study. There was a comment about not having enough money to go to the movies so the answer was, "No." from him. However, no one has been able to pinpoint which church was being discussed for the meeting later. (I wish some reporters would ask this simple question!)

I am still not clear on if she was home or not. She was leaving the next day to go on vacation, but we don't know if she went early to her house. Evidently, Connie was home so she could have still been there. I only hope the reports of Sandra's sister babysitting are not true. Have we learned any more about that situation?

I am still racking my mind for a motive. It has got to be Child *advertiser censored*. If so then there has to be more people involved. How perfect to have a woman kidnap the children. Every parent tells their children to stay away from strange men. If your child goes with a strange man the thought instantly runs through your mind, but not so much with a women. I really think this crime has been ongoing. For Sandra to tell someone that she wanted to run away just makes me think she had been exposed to this before. I really want to know about the other child that was drugged. It sounds like MH wanted to get caught by letting bit of truth slip out. This is so scary to me. I think her motive is purely a selfish one. I also tend to think the child *advertiser censored* thing is coming from parents who are following the Tracy60 thing and could be unrelated to MH. (I could be wrong and their children could have come forward...but Sgt. Sheneman said they have had no calls yet on his plea for other victims.)

Or...Melissa is a horrible liar who only wanted to insert herself into the case by pretending to have "inside" information to bolster her ego. The stories of the suitcase being stolen and the note seem to point in this direction, imo. She even inserted herself into the molestation/drugging case prior to this while proclaiming her "innocence".

Interesting. Are you saying that she might be lying about being involved? Did she begin giving these details after her hospital visit?
