Mom's side. Holly's first cousin.
Confusing who's who in this case, as least it is for me...
So it started with -
Zachary Adams, 29, first to be charged.
We have John Dylan Adams, Zachary Adams' brother, whom as The Jackson Sun reported, saw Zachary Adams with Holly after the kidnapping.
Jason Wayne Autry, 39 years old was the next to charged in Holly's murder.
Shayne Kyle Austin, 38 years old, who was given immunity, but now prosecutors are saying they plan to indict (I assuming as a co-conspirator?)
Am I the only human that has never heard or Whitney Duncan or one song by Whitney Duncan??
Not a big star by any means, so youre definitely not alone. Had 1 song in the top 30 a few years back and nothing else really. Sweet girl though.
The courtroom doors were open in the Decatur County Courthouse Friday morning for reporters to come and look at the public records available for Zachary Adams, Shayne Austin and Jason Autry.
Zachary Adams, 29, of Holladay was indicted on March 5 for the especially aggravated kidnapping of Bobo from her home on Swan Johnson Road on April 13, 2011. Jason Autry, 39, of Holladay, was indicted for the same charges Tuesday.

According to Nick Beres of TV5 Jason Autry has hired Fletcher Long as his attorney. Will link it when I get it confirmed. I read what good ole Nick writes with one eye closed. LOL But it was suppose to be on the 5:00 news.
is the weather clearing up in the area so more searches can be done?
When I saw Jason Autry standing in front of that podium yesterday it reminded of a movie from a while back. And it drove me crazy I couldn't remember the name of it. Only that Brian Dennehey was in it. It took me all day to remember the title. It was "In Broad Daylight" from the 90's. I know a little O/T. But it's about a town bully that terrorized a small Missouri town for years.
That and when he was complaining about the cuffs being too tight. If he would stop extorting his cellmates bologna sandwiches and lose some weight those bracelets would fit better.

Attorney Fletcher Long said Friday that he, along with his Clarksville-based law partner John Herbison, will join Mike Flanagan in defending Jason Wayne Autry.
Its our case, we are thrilled to have it, and we are going to give this man every penny of the defense for which he has paid, he said.
My underline;
JA made it very clear he had no money so what exactly does this statement mean? Every penny for which WHO paid? It can't be Pro Bono because that would mean if he paid 0 money he get's 0 defense. So someone is picking up the tab? No, that can't be it either.
10 to 1 this lawyer goes after the same deal ZA's lawyer got - ie; we have a little money but when that runs out the state needs to pick up the tab'
Is so, in effect they get a state funded defense without getting a public defender? And this seems to have been the judges idea...

Autry and Austin are first cousins. Autrys mother, Shirley King, and Austins mother, Rita Austin, are sisters.
Both women appeared in court Wednesday during the preliminary hearing for Autry and the status hearing for Adams. During a moment when the court was in recess, both women went to the front of the courtroom and spoke with Adams attorney.
Court records show criminal past of three men investigated in Holly Bobo case
Anybody remember the PT cruiser with the bullet holes towed from Zach's property during the search.
"Autry stole copper wire on Jan. 5, 2012, from a cell phone tower and tried to us a PT Cruiser as a deadly weapon trying to run down a deputy with the car while fleeing the scene of the crime on Peterson Loop, court records show."

Holly would be second cousins to Jason. The dads were first cousins. Jason was a first cousin once removed to Dana. The first cousins offspring would be second cousins per 30 years of genealogy research.
It just sounds wrong for attorneys to be "thrilled" to defend these people somehow...yeah, innocent until proven guilty and all that, but still, a bad choice of words, Imo.
