I wonder if mom will go to the visitation or funeral? She may need a police escort if so.

The mom returned to the home yesterday for a short time with a police escort. I wonder if she was picking up an outfit to bring to the funeral director for Mariah. She will probably have the same police protection for the visitation, unless she is arrested first. JMO

Just a few thoughts and all are IMO
1. I have wondered if kw collected a social security check for Mariah
2. IF there is a large life insurance policy on Mariah with KW as beneficiary, maybe LE is waiting for her to collect it, so they can charge her with insurance fraud.
3. Maybe KW has been co-operating with LE and they are going to allow her to attend the funeral before arresting her.

It is a sad situation all around. Love your posts and try not to miss any of them. I was wondering, though...which is worse, revealing these horrific details or committing/allowing them (with respect to which parent is allowed custody of these precious boys)? Or, would it be best for foster parents to step in?

Thank you!!

I'm not sure how there could be a question though. Committing those heinous crimes and allowing them to happen are vastly worse than releasing information about them. The latter may be stupid and against the kids best interests but the former is a crime.

Dad may live in Kentucky, but on some pics, appears that he may travel for work

This!! Been following this case since day one and I appreciate all of you keeping it updated with MSM reports. Thank you!! She was a beautiful little girl and when I think of skanky, poor excuse for a mother, and her complete boyfriend, I could just scream!!! I am so sick of little children being SA by sick men and murdered, sometimes with a MOTHER knowing, I don't know what to do with myself. This had GOT to STOP happening and I for one do not know how to make this happen. SMH in despair.
After what this mother put these children thru, I hope she is arrested and doesn’t get to attend the funeral. She doesn’t deserve it. [emoji35][emoji35]

Hi. New here. I noticed that too, but doubt they'd be quite so careless with relatively expensive, or at least precious, drugs. I haven't seen cocaine thrown out as one of the drugs of choice. Do people do lines of meth? I thought meth was smoked.

I finally decided it must be random dust. Would this be when EK's biological daughter was an infant? Could it be formula powder? A friend and I joke that it always looks like a Coke den in the kitchen after Daddy makes a bottle.

ETA: Dang. Supposed to be a reply to Tippy Lin post of horrible couple in kitchen circa Feb '15

People snort meth and chop and snort pills too.

my guess is yes. she had the boys believing that their dad was involved in mariah disappearing.
I meant back when CPS was first involved. For the alleged abuse and SA.
After the kids were returned to the mother, if there were checks done, did she have the boys lie about EK not being around any more. But, in fact he was. JMO

But is this a CPS case or is LE taking the lead. Did the prosecutor ask the court to give emergency custody to the state or did CPS?

Our daughter just went through a divorce in Ohio and she wasn't given a copy of the GAL report--a GAL she asked the court to appoint. She was allowed to read it at the courthouse but her attorney said it could not be photo-copied.

The prosecutor has no jurisdiction over child dependency cases. Period. The prosecutor can't compel the state to take children from their homes. CPS has to make he initial decision based on statutory criteria and then a depdnency court either supports or denies their decision within a set period of time.

Divorce court (family court) is different from dependency court cases. In family court, there are sometimes confidential reports that can only be released to an attorney. Sometimes if people don't have counsel the report will be released to them. Other times they can only read it at court. That is more common if it is an emergency report, for example.

In dependency court parents can have their parental rights terminated. Thus they have strict due process rights to all information that goes into that process, including CPS reports.

Is it a fact that Mariah and mom did not go to Thanksgiving festivities with abuser and the two boys?

Do you know if she drove herself or someone brought her?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I understood they were not divorced, just living apart.

I saw somewhere they divorced in June of this year. But on the Court Case Nancy Grace was reading from, which is dated Dec. 1, 2017, both parents were represented by attorneys. I dunno what is actual fact about either parent at this point other than what was said in the CPS report by the oldest son.

I really don't recall but 9:30 sounds right. I dismissed it at first bc it was supposedly before Mariah went missing. BUt the fact that she deleted it may indicate Mariah was already gone.

Do you recall what time that was posted? I remember seeing it, too and for some reason, I think it was around 9:00 or 9:30?? The only reason a time is coming to mind is because I recall checking it to see if there was a missing post and think this may have been the last one she posted that night. MOO

Was the Dec. 1st hearing in Dependency Court? I don't recall NG saying what kind of hearing it was. Thanks.

I saw it too and 9:00 - 9:30 sounds right.

I really wish I had followed my gut and taken screenshots of her page.

and it's very likely the kids saw/heard or knew what happened in Mariah's death.
Thank you!!

As many of us suspected, there was more going on in that house than has been alleged. No wonder mom didn't want the bio-dad seeing the children. The boys would have told the abuse that was going on!

It turns my stomach as to what he was doing to Mariah! One would think it would be done privately, but guess monsters like to be show-0ffs! Those poor little boys, they will need serious help to overcome the life they have lived.

I suppose this may be a factor why EK has not been charged with murder - LE doesn't know how Mariah was killed and have suspicions Mom was in on it. From some reports that EK took the boys out of town for Thanksgiving, leaving Mom and Mariah behind, Could Mariah have been too bruised up to be seen by others?

Now we wait......when will Mom be arrested?

Ive suggested that from day one almost. Escalating abuse leading to a situation in which she has to be hidden.
