Absolutely agree!
The 'family' is sitting on nearly $5,000 so what is a few months rent to maintain an apartment in the event DNV is found alive? The alternative to move forward with an eviction proceeding and the 'put out' by the Sheriff where all of DNV personal items are kicked to the curb. The choice by the 'family' seems to be to go with eviction and 'put out' and is something that I simply cannot find a word acceptable under TOS to describe how I feel about this scenario.
Further the idea that the 'family' has already removed items from the apartment when it is highly unlikely based on anything we have heard that TT was party to the lease (so is would be ok to remove items belonging to him) is something that is also hard to understand why LE has permitted this to occur. Was this removal of personal effects/ransacking sanctioned or supervised by MPD? Was TT party to the DNV lease and why was anyone from the T 'family' permitted to even enter the apartment if TT or another member of the T 'family' wasn't a party to the lease? Where was MPD to let this occur if there is no member of the T family that was party to the DNV lease?
The 'family' has spoken about a PI since the beginning of the go fund me process and the fundraising efforts. Has a PI been hired? If so, when did they start? If not, why not? $5,000 is a good amount of money and so to say that it will be used for flyers and billboards seems more than a bit disingenuous especially as many of the flyers to date have been donated. How much could a few months of rent total in Mobile? $1,500-$2,000? Where is the accountability for the money that has been raised so far? Continued fundraising efforts without an accounting of what has been spent so far or an explanation for the DNV apartment situation will be seriously questioned by anyone thinking to support the efforts of the family. I firmly believe in the idea of watching what people do rather than what they say and I think anyone thinking of donating to any search effort for a missing person is thinking the same way. Trust and credibility are fragile commodities and once found to be in question are rarely regained.
