Does this spot look correct to you? I'm not sure the greek translation worked properly and I didn't want to post a map of the incorrect location: translated article said, "Katafigi 5 km from the hotel"

I'm not at all familiar with Ikaria but in Greek Katafygi and Katafygio are basically the same word.

ETA: The location should be correct.

5k from where she was staying, which is well within running distance. But, would a jogger be running on rugged terrain when alone? That doesn't ring true to me.

Could she have been abducted while on the run?

This case is not over until we learn if her cellphone (the one that kept switching off and back on in the past couple of days) was found with her. Other than that, she was clearly extremely athletic but may have overestimated her climbing abilities. She did have a nosebleed and possibly a fight with her bf the night before so maybe she was not feeling her best.

ETA: Her body was found down a gorge.

I'm a native Greek speaker. The correct translation is definitely not "stoned" as in "drugged". A heavy stone was found on top of her.

"Stoned" also has the meaning in English of being punished/killed/injured by having stones thrown at a person. I'm assuming this was not what the scene looked like - but rather that her body was found under a stone.
