Thank you SouthAussie, your recollection is the same as mine, which is why that jumped out at me as inconsistent.

It does seem as though there are a few "last seen's" when doing a Google search. I wonder which one it is?


The childcare worker was last seen leaving his Albion apartment on March 7.

That is what I thought, too. But the last article about Sam being last seen at Deep Bend Reserve is from April, the previous two are from March. So, it leaves me a bit puzzled.

The last 'last seen' (Bald Hills reserve car park) is the most recent article.

I get the feeling the Italian restaurant drug arrest is related to all this.
ST dealer < RB supplier small fish < unkown supplier big fish
Is it possible the restaurant owner was the big fish ?

I have had this suspicion all along, that RB had connections and why he was so good at keeping a low profile, he is Italian, now the Italian restaurant.
Surely not a coincidence.
Once they had RB's phone wasn't going to take long to connect all the dots.

Also might be why LA haven't mentioned the drug angle, not wanting to tip anybody off :/

It may well be. Though I know that police have been investigating that particular drug link ever since the murder of Peter Milos in 2014.
Timing is very coincidental though, hey?

RB just doesn't seem flashy enough to be that high up the chain imo, but I could be wrong.

IMO if RB & AD were involved in drug trafficking/ring there would be evidence of that. The police would already have investigated bank records, assets etc. Where were RB & AD getting cash to live on? Were they generating income from employment? Were they getting Govt. bennies if unemployed? Which for a single unemployed young guy is around $240 p.wk. Not much to live on in Australia. Poverty line income i would think.

I also don't think the guys down the chain are making all the coin, the guys importing it and or manufacturing it are the ones making all the money, they are also harder to catch because they are not on the front line dealing the stuff to Joe Public.

Yes definitely. If they are known to have snitched to LE , it will not be good for them at all in or out of prison IMO. Those things will catch up to them IMO.

It's difficult at this stage to know what RB & AD did as far as that goes IMO. But it is a little odd that after the two have been incarcerated for Sam's murder recently, that yesterday the police strike paydirt, (the bust) yesterday.
