Witness on cross, appears to has a fog regarding questions he was just asked a few mins ago by the defense attorney.

He took medicine this morning.....

He moans and groans has a sore back...

I don't think that I've ever seen a witness showing such pain while testifying. He is really emphasizing his discomfort, a lot.

Q: could have been there on ____ (asks several days)

A: correct

 entertaining to say the least

I began looking into this case about a week ago. I watched the off and on coverage yesterday on HLN. IMHO, there's NO WAY this woman committed suicide.

I don't care what the defense throws out there, the guy was a cop and knows about evidence. He thinks he's above the law, but he's soooo transparent! OMGosh! Yesterday he was even laughing while at the defense table. What the heck is sooo funny?

A woman is NOT going to use a gun or fire! There is no way. This mother would NOT have endangered her children either. She wouldn't leave it to him to pull them to safety.

Psychotherapist, Brett Seacat had unusual phone conversation hours after wife’s death, woman testifies

Brother testifies Brett Seacat was shaky but ‘kind of detached’ morning after wife died
Bobby Seacat described his half-brother Brett as “somewhat shaky but sort of just tough” the morning after his sister-in-law died of a gunshot wound and her body was burned beyond recognition in the couple’s Kingman home.

“He had injuries that I saw, and he was telling me what had happened,” Bobby Seacat told the jury Tuesday, recalling his impression of Brett Seacat after seeing him at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center on April 30, 2011 – just hours after 34-year-old Vashti Seacat died.

Okay, in my world Mr Turner is the next door neighbor to Mr Nix and every morning he waits quietly on his front porch for the groans and click of the ciggie lighter to tell him to get ready with his pellet gun and try to get Mr Truner's mutt a good one for crapping on HIS front lawn every day.

I kind of feel sorry for the neighbors, I saw an interview that said the house is still standing all boarded up, nothing has been done with it. I can't imagine looking at that house every single day knowing what happened there. I wonder why it has not been torn down?

According to Ted Rowlands, the guy on the stand is an investigator.

Handwriting expert concludes her testimony in Brett Seacat’s murder trial

Prosecutors in the murder trial of Brett Seacat spent part of Wednesday morning trying to discredit the testimony of a Kansas City handwriting expert called as a defense witness.
In a painstaking comparison of samples taken from Vashti Seacat’s journal to those from a suicide note – filled with pleas for Brett Seacat to “take care of our boys” and a promise to the couple’s two young sons to be “watching over you from heaven” – Avis Odenbaugh testified Tuesday that the person who wrote entries in the journal also wrote the suicide note.

Friend of Seacat’s wife recalls alarming comment

Joy Trotnic told Kingman County jurors she was good friends with her co-worker, Vashti Seacat, and after she learned about her death on April 30, 2011, she quickly recalled an alarming comment Vashti Seacat had made about her husband just a couple of weeks before her death.“She said, ‘Do you think Brett would burn the house down with me in it?’ ” Trotnic said, adding that she was “taken aback” by her friend’s odd question. “I said, ‘What? … Not with the kids at home.’ ”

BBM ---- as a juror this comment would bother me. She says that, and then allegedly he does that? Just too precise. Don't pitchfork me, but a juror might see reasonable doubt.
