Myles Cosgrove, the officer found by the FBI to have fired the fatal shot, was also terminated in January.

Brett Hankison was fired in June 2020 for firing into Taylor's apartment from outside through a window and an obscured screen door.

Cosgrove's hearing date has not yet been set.

Hankison's hearing won't take place until after his criminal trial on three counts of wanton endangerment has concluded, likely in 2022.

Attorney Steve Romines, who represents Kenneth Walker, Taylor’s former boyfriend, argued in a recent court hearing that officers have acknowledged using their personal phones for work and he believes “there is a conspiracy in this case” among police involved in planning and executing the raid...

LMPD denied having the information, though Romines and Moore filed documents showing the Kentucky Attorney General’s office, which presented the case to a grand jury, turned the evidence back over to police after the investigation concluded.

Officer involved in Breonna Taylor raid gets new book deal

The conservative media company Daily Wire is starting a publishing division called DW Books.

The company will publish a book by former Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly titled, "The Fight for Truth: The Inside Story Behind The Breonna Taylor Tragedy."

Tennessee-based Post Hill Press, whose books are distributed by Simon & Schuster, originally said they would publish Mattingly's book.

Hours later, the publishing company reverted, saying they would not be distributing the book.

“Simon & Schuster was too afraid to tell his (Mattingly’s) story, but we’re not,” DW Books Vice President of Publishing Alyssa Cordova told The Associated Press.

The investigators believed Glover was using Taylor’s address to receive drugs through the mail. That part of the investigation has now been debated and contested, with conflicting testimonies about whether he was in fact receiving packages there.

The FBI still has an open case on the circumstances surrounding Taylor’s death

Kentucky task force recommends search warrant changes after Breonna Taylor's death

The Search Warrant Task Force, assembled by state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, unveiled a series of recommendations in its final report. The guidelines include additional training for officers, a centralized electronic database that allows the public to track the number of warrants executed in each zip code, and other safety provisions.
This article repeatedly states that the Taylor warrant was issued as a "no-knock" warrant. But it fails to state that it was not executed as a no-knock. Once on the scene the officers sensing no danger, elected to go ahead and knock. Ironically, it was that decision that led to the tragedy. Had they served it as a no-knock and entered immediately, Walker perhaps would not have had time to get his gun, thus no shooting.

Jury selection might take some time, but I can't imagine the trial itself will be very long. The facts as they related to Hankison aren't all that complicated.
