So Mack's son Jaybyn helped out Mack when he was on the run, got arrested for that, had to post $5,000 for bail and then asked for the $5,000 reward for finding Mack. And I thought I had an unproductive week.

Friday, Barnes led a search party along with Davis's best friend, Paula Littlefield, that took them to Alexandria Mack's home on Riggle Road in Bellville. News 5 saw two Richland County Sheriff's Office cruisers near the property. They did not say why they were there.

Barnes said now that Mack has been arrested and Davis has not been found, the nature of their searches has changed, but they will never stop searching for her.

“With him being apprehended now we're doing recon. Now we're trying to find a body or a location that this person may be at," Barnes said. "We just feel like there's nothing that can ever be enough until she comes home."

In a message to News 5, Melinda's sister, Lisa Davis, said that she is busy praying that Mack gives up information as to where her sister is and that she is still alive.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
