Also, where is the CR or CA that police said is on the ring? They seem to have not show that.

It may not even be her initial, the ring could have been passed down from a grandmother or aunt. She could have bought them at a flea market, etc. I wouldn't place too much value into the lettering on the ring being directly linked to her name.

True. I have a sterling silver bangle bracelet that came in a lot I purchased with "love Jim & Alma" engraved on the inside. I have no idea who they are, but it's a lovely bracelet.

The other ring engraving looks to me like a "Jesus fish" and not like letters.
Anything can be stamped on the inside of a piece of jewelry. I imagine it is the ring creator or a reference to the gold.
