IIRC there is only one way (road) in and out of Nancy's property. They could be looking at all doorbell or cam footage they can get to see if one car in particular made trips by the residence during that month. I doubt there is a lot of traffic in general, so a car checking out or driving by that residence would probably stick out.

Good point.

Btw, it was actually "Savannah Guthrie" searched on December 28, 2025 twice
Based on City it lists Tubac
Based on Metro it lists Sierra Vista

"Nancy Guthrie" was searched 1 time on December 22, 2025 and 1 time on January 9, 2026
Based on City it lists Catalina Foothills
Based on Metro it lists Sierra Vista

I think LE may have different sources than the public has access to. JMO

<snipped>

A source familiar also told Fox News Digital that law enforcement would use investigative tools like subpoenas, not publicly available marketing information.

Internet user searched for Nancy Guthrie's address and daughter's salary before 'Today' host's mother vanished

Still keeping up hope for Nancy no matter how dire the circumstances seem right now.

Proper grammar? Because TMZ is so sophisticated? jmo
Grammar, spelling, punctuation, command of vocabulary. Complex sentence structure? Possibly highly descriptive adjectives not as common in daily verbiage. JMO

True, true friend. Just sharing what one can pull up publicly on Google Trends.

Publicly those searches and dates that LE has is not viewable to the public.

I think Sheriff Nanos was right that Technology will end up solving this.

Possibly a Church friend, who did not want to embarrass her by calling 911, and called APS instead to do a welfare check.

The Best explanation to me is that when there is a Silver Alert... senior citizen missing, this office automatically sends someone to the scene to offer their services, if needed.
Even if APS is called in by a neighbor.... still connects, since it seems part of the APS services is to be quickly available when someone goe missing.
Makes such sense....

I found a local paper carried an article about Savannah Guthrie on 5 Nov 2025. In it she talks about growing up in the Catalina Foothilks and lists the schools she attended. I believe she also references visiting her mom who still lives in Catalina Foothills. Page A1 and A4. (Highlights by me)View attachment 646610

This could have very easily caused some less than healthy attention to Nancy and SG.

Sad that such a lovely article could have potentially been a trigger for some criminal(s).

Where is the suspect?
above snipped by me. He might be right here! He is probably compulsively on multiple internet sites watching what leads are coming in. He may be holed up somewhere, sending ransom notes to TMZ. He craves attention and is enjoying the 24/7 news. . NG just might still be alive. He may be sitting with her, his trophy, and feeling like a child with a new toy. He is waiting for SG to address him again in a video. JMO

Watching the video again, he does seem to do a lot with his left hand - reach for lantana plant, try to remove camera, put lantana plant up to camera. I would agree that he is likely left handed.
Am R handed. Always open a door with my L hand.

Maybe Sheriff Nanos made up the neighbor call because they don't want to reveal why APS was called. JMO

No, I don't think so.

It makes sense to me that a savvy neighbor was seeking further information on what was going on at NG’s home by contacting APS and then getting a reply back from them as to the status of their check.

But I’m not on the nipping at the heels of the Sheriff bunch. I’ve had enough work contact to know LE can be whiny about leadership so I don’t put much in some reports. Guess it’s the kind of work they do takes a certain type to carry out their duties; heroes but also regular people trying to pay bills and keep up with their families like everyone else.

I agree. The neighbor story and timeline of when APS would’ve come to the house that morning but not seen LE or AG just doesn’t make sense to me

Where does it say the neighbors didn't see LE? Or AG? Seeing both is what alarmed them, imo.

The neighbors couldn't miss LE according to my quote from one of them in my post.

My link in the post says the neighbors were concerned about the police response and drones and didn't know what was going on with all the frantic activity.

all imo

While this is interesting and I think there’s something there… Google Trends is also not super reliable. I forget which event in particular, Brown or the DC shooting of the National Guardsmen, one could look at the name for a brief period of time and see what appeared to be searches in the days leading up to the shooting. These results then disappeared as data got more normalized or something.

I do think CP alluded to Google searches in one of his interviews with independent media (maybe BE?), so it would appear LE is following this line of investigation in any case.

Still seems connected... i.e. APS makes themselves available to a missing person's family as soon as possible.

I've noticed that there is some weird light movement going on behind him in the part of the video where he is holding the foliage up to the camera. I wondered if it was someone else sweeping a torchlight around, or if it was the movement of car lights in the distance. But it seems to shine inside the porch area, because he is silhouetted against a completely black background before and after, and doesn't seem to be moving his head at all, IMO.

You need to play the video on 0.25 speed to really catch it, between time stamps 0.33 and 0.37 in the video -

Looking closely at the first video, the perp is knocking at the cam with his left hand. He then goes and grabs a handful of the lantana to cover it but holds it in his right...did anyone else notice a bracelet or maybe a wrist tattoo on that left hand at about the 13 second mark?

Maybe hallucinating, need more coffee. ETA: Yep Left

Don’t know if this has been posted because, well, sleep, lightening-speed thread…

However, what stands out to me this morning is that it seems as if the Google searches were all done from Arizona. This is stunning. Who doesn’t use a VPN?!! When you’re planning something nefarious…?

Mexican cartels and other affiliated criminal gangs are a primary driver of kidnap-for-ransom schemes targeting U.S. citizens, particularly in border regions. These groups sometimes target Americans they believe have significant assets or family willing to pay, often using "stash houses" on either side of the border. Source: U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Mexico.
This is much more common on the south side of the border… you’re far more likely to run into extortion/sextortion schemes on the US side.

One of the reasons this has made such big news is that kidnappings for ransom are exceedingly rare in the US. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if a good number of the ones that even have occurred turned out to be hoaxes/something else altogether.

That’s definitely his right hand lol

He’s then using both hands with the lantana.

This is a wild hair of an idea.. but I keep thinking about the garage door. That's our confirmation of when NG got home, right?

How do they know the timing of the garage door opening? Is that a home security feature? Or an app?

Could the suspect have entered the house using the garage door? Is it hard to open an automatic garage door from the outside? Are there ways to replicate a garage door opener?

This could easily be one of those Nigerian or Indian scams that take advantage of unsuspecting victims.
Or perhaps one of the "grandparent scams"? Though LE would know by now, because they certainly checked her phone bill and incoming calls?
