Re: gloves
I don't believe they were anything more than the ones law enforcement took into that apartment themselves to keep from getting their fingerprints all over the place. I have to use gloves a lot in my field and I've had the blue ones, black ones and purple ones but the purple ones are...
Thus is probably going to do nothing more than muddy the waters but here goes:
"Longo said video of the mans car leaving the downtown area was among evidence that led to the search warrant for the mans car. He said police discovered other evidence when towing the car that led to a search...
I thought Chief Longo stated himself in the first press conference q&a that there are no cameras inside or outside of Tempo. This is all starting to run together for me.
I guess my hang up stems from the squickiness I feel if I allow myself to believe that's what happened. It looks like that would open up a big ol' can of worms at trial or if he was found guilty if he actually retained the attorney the police went out and grabbed at Starbucks for him to chat...
They have to allow you to call one, or call your rich aunt to hire you one, point is you can call whoever you want. The police department is under no obligation to provide you an attorney. They can either charge you right there or let you go but they don't provide attorneys.
Again, I am fairly certain you can't go into a police station and demand a court appoint attorney. Public defenders are appointed at the arraignment stage. Now, if Longo stated in the press conference that "they found him one", we'll, I'm stumped.
I'm only familiar with the court system in another state but I don't think the police department is the one that would be appointing a public defender are they? Isn't that something that happens after a person is formally charged and arraigned? I think he either hired an attorney before he went...
"He (Longo) said that evidence in the car led to police to execute a search warrant for the apartment."

But what we know about Hannah so far does not indicate she was a crack head or a tweaker. For Pete's sake, she is a college student on the ski team which would make me the think the exact opposite of crack head or tweaker. IMO.
There's an update to this story:

8 years to serve on each count to run concurrent at 30%. :banghead:
I was wrong this morning in the other thread:
According to the felony offender lookup for TN JA has been transferred to Riverbend Maximum Security Institution
ZA is in Chester County jail, not Carroll County where JA is:

That info about the 20 sex offenders being at the coon hunt (among other things) has been refuted by the TBI:
