It isn't confusing at all...I attended the trial and not once was there mention that he hired or arranged it with someone else. THe charge was that he did this he went there that night and murdered Mr Ammon.
I don't know how danny would feel about being compared to Charles Manson..that is interesting. I really thought it was just interesting that the juror had doubt that Danny was even present the night of the murder.
Ok, but he wasn't on trial for conspiracy or solicitation.. He was convicted of 2nd degree murder , and i beleive that means he went there that night to commit this crime...
Yes, and when asked if he was there that night, she responds "i'm not sure of that."
That is what she said...she isn't sure???? But they convict beyond a reasonable doubt..
THis quote is not my invention, it is directly from the cbs website. I copied it directly, did not change or "invent" any part of it.
I did see the show and saw the juror say she wasn't sure he was there that night...not an opionion it is what was said.
"But jurors still believe there's room for more suspects. In fact, some jurors aren't sure if Pelosi was there at all. "
The above is from the 48 Hours mystery last nigtht, did anyone catch this? How is it possible they convict him of 2nd degree murder if they don't believe he was even at the...
I think the problem is what you say lisafreemont, the limited info that was printed in papers like the NY Post. I beleive that says it all...I would love to read the transcripts of this trial would be an interesting read wouldn't you say. And are 1st time posters not allowed an opionion???
I was impressed with danny's testimony yesterday. I would think it would really rattle you being under a tremendous amount of pressure. He never waivered. He laughed and cried and was yes he seemed more frustrated than angry. I was speaking to a lawyer at one point who said he has seen...
Well that is just it Lisa, I do not think all the dots connect to danny. He and Generosa weren't married at the time so she could have completely left him high and dry..i would think that would be a hugh risk for him to take. Also, I think there are any number possibilites. I think anyone of...
I know, it is funny how we all view things differently. I think the phone call to the girlfriend is very interesting. I would think having lived in East Hampton he knew the beach he was going to. To call and say he was frightened and from what i understand he was going back to the city not...
Hi Lisa, Unfortunatly work has prevented me from attending the sessions, however i know a few people that have attended. I was told that the DA really went after her, claiming she was lying to for her uncle and at one point tried to impeach her testimony. She didn't waiver and from what i gather...
Hi Lisa
Just wondering why you don't believe the niece? I understand she held up really well under harsh cross examination. I would think she would crack if she wasn't telling truth..
Hi Fran,
My take on it is that he is trying to prove the family members testifing against
Danny are all nuts and they believe in this "devil curse" and are not really credible. I do beleive there is alot more to come. Should be an interesting week.
It depends on the day, somedays it is jam packed and people do not get in, but other days there are lots of space. There isn't a lottery. The most people i have seen was the 1st day that opening statement were suppose to happen, some family member didn't even get a seat. I haven't seen that...
Hi Lisa,
I read the same report about her being hostile, i believe Janet ALbertson mentioned it in her opening. She called her something else yesterday, it seemed like she was both a defense and prosocution witness. I wish i could remember what term she used. There were some grand jury...
She was subpoenaed, I beleive a few more family members will be also. I wouldn't say she is "hostile".
The courtroom has a very strange atmosphere..It goes from very intense one minute to light with laughter breaking out sometimes. Mr. Shargel seems to have a great presence in the court...
i have to say i was in the court room yesterday and a couple of other days, you really don't hear everything that goes on. They seem just to report bits and peices and of course it is always the sensational things that end up in print. I didn't get the impression Ms Lukert was testifing...
