Got to follow the morning for a little bit, but then had to run out with my son for a few hours. Will have to go back and watch state's close. Sounds like they didn't have much more time than to pick a foreman and read through the jury instructions and maybe deliberate a little. I feel like if they thought they were anywhere close to a verdict they would have stayed and tried to get it done, right? But I bet we know tomorrow.

Thanks TB, but I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than watch/listen to Gaskins again.

I think they are thinking that for one of them to have killed her, the other would have been in the other room making sure the kids didn't come out. And that this would make them "less" guilty of the murder?

However, first of all we don't know who was where. But yes, it's more likely that Amanda would be with the kids than Grant. However, it is very probably that she could have stuck in a movie for the kids to watch, locked their door, helped Grant with the ambush and killing, helped drag her to the bathroom, then gone back and checked on the kids. Made sure they were ok, then come back out. Repeat, repeat.
Good thoughts. Let's hope the jury's thought process can take them that far.

Try not to read the 'tea leaves' ie. the jurors' deliberations. We're not in the room, we cannot know what all they are discussing. Worrying about it does no good. She's not going to be going free, that much I do know. No way will that jury acquit her. She might not get Murder 1, but she will be convicted and spend at least the next decade or so in prison.

That is why I was sure to mark the videos, so 1 or more could be skipped.

I'm just reading and so I'm way behind you guys, but I have to say that I agree with you on this one. For some reason, I picture her holding the baby and hiding a knife at the same time. When Laura goes to take the baby, Amanda pulled out the knife and stabbed her. Grant then finished it up. I don't know why I think that way, maybe because AH made a big out of holding the baby and Laura wanting to hold her. OK, back to catching up now.
