IMO, there is no way MR did not know he would be offered a poly on the DP show. I'd like to know what he is doing in the search for his son....

Exactly! In my opinion, this is why I don't believe MR ever passed his poly.

Oh I dont either!

These were the first words out of his mouth! They said I failed!

Not it was inconclusive! That came afterwards!

I do think he failed!

It came from a statement made on Tricia's Show, which is allowed here. It was said by Dylan's mother, who I believe.

I can't remember what Elaine said about a second LE polygraph. Did she say where she got this information? Was it directly from LE or some other source?

Ok lets g back to the FACTS.

dylan is Missing
No cell activity after 9 37 pm sunday
Last seen in public at Walmart
Dad never reported him missing
Mom Cory and MH were where they said they were when dylan went missing.
MR did his thing then took a nap.

MR failed his POLY

Been thinking about those hits in the lake....I don't think LE discounted them, per se, or they would not have done flyovers and sent in divers. We debated K-9 Forensics' dogs and certifications here at websleuths and they certainly had mixed results in the Tammy Salle case, so I went back and researched the original dogs who hit in November.

Two of the dogs in this search work with La Plata County Search and Rescue.

Those dogs are trained by:

That group looks impressive to me.

I might be willing to critique one dog or another but five dogs by two different teams on two different searches in the same lake? With a history of fine training? I cannot discount the dogs. Someone is in that lake and, per Sarx, probably not historical or cremated remains. The only person I am aware of to go missing from this area besides Dylan was CJ Harvey in 1984. I think even that might be too long ago for a dog hit. Maybe. Anyone else? Any other unaccounted for adults I might have missed?

We can all twist words to make them mean what we want them to mean.

They told him he failed! My bets on that he FAILED!

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Until LE release's the results we won't know what is true.

From the notes on the official FMDR Facebook website -

Paraphrased - MR has been asked by family and LE to retake the test. He has refused.

I can't find that on there but I did find this in that page's timeline:

A search warrant was issued to search Mark's property, to include his house and his vehicles. The Sheriff's office maintains that Mark is not a suspect. The search of his home by the task force is because that was the last area that Dylan was presumably in and they have to start somewhere. This is standard in missing cases.

I believe the dogs are correct. No way 5 different dogs are wrong. The more i think about it the more i think LE is just waiting for the lake to thaw.

FWIW.. I looked up drownings at one point and there really wasn't that many. And if I remember correctly they were all accounted for.

"begged him to take it" (both family and LE) He has refused. :( :furious:

Wink...I removed the 'begged' because we're only allowed to use FMDR if we paraphrase, not allowed to copy and paste.

If I was INNOCENT then I would take the polygraph and try to clear my name. I think most innocent people would assume they could pass the test unless they were hiding something.

I changed the word I used. I changed it in your quote as well. and italicized it. Thanks. :)

I keep looking for it but can't seem to find it. I do want to see it and would appreciate help in finding it. It's a large page although only three "notes". I don't know where else to look. TIA

We have confirmed that he said he was told he FAILED.
The rest is pure speculation on your part.
LE wont release that info. MR can and he did.

Exactly!
IMO he knws he cant pass another test!

I'm not speculating that we don't know for a fact if Mark passed or failed the polygraph. All we know is Mark saying that LE told him he failed. We don't know if LE told Mark the truth or not.

You don't have to agree with me and it's pointless to keep going back and forth about it so lets just agree to disagree about this.
