I really want to address this but I've typed my thoughts up 3 times and I just can't get it to come out right.:gaah:

My hope is that they used a prepaid THINKING it is untraceable. Not many things are truly untraceable! In Beverly Carter's case, slick Arron bought a burner phone to use for the interaction. But, all things can be traced where they came from (Dollar General, in that case). Then, they went to Dollar General and got the video footage of the purchase. Even when the product isn't directly connected to the person, through some good detective work, it can be linked. (I think it was that case! So many cases, so little brain space)/

I def don't think this was a robbery. A robber comes in quickly searching and grabbing and stuffing stuff they want in their pants or whatever. This person didn't steal anything but weapons! Were the weapons placed there by them earlier to come back and use? Its probable. And when someone comes in on a robbery, the robber generally runs for the hills! They don't stick around, bludgeon someone in the head and still leave without anything of value. Doesn't at all seem like a robbery gig, to me. Seems very targeted. Seems very calculated. Seemed very at peace with this mission they were on. VERY scary, to me.

MOO - I think there's strong motive but obviously don't have details. It's just that it fits the classic cases of this type. I'm basing my opinion on a framework... meaning context of the case with certain classic factors involved - not any special knowledge.

I think the reason it's so tricky is because it seems like there's been a deliberate attempt on the perp/perps' part to hoodwink LE and everyone else by playing dress-up with cops and robbers gear. I haven't seen anyone say they think the perp is a cop.

Nobody can be absolutely certain except perhaps LE photography specialists what gender this bumbling, shuffling 'robocop' is.

In my latest opinion the strategy of robocop is a masculine one. Based on new points raised online by different people I've seen many in this forum shift in certainty about it being a man or a woman. There are some people on the internet with mind-blowing technical skills in regard to blowing photos up and discerning features. Thanks to them I'm now 99% sure it's a man with Schwarzenegger fantasies.

It's also interesting that a specific word used yesterday in the closed thread was mentioned in a recent interview. That gives me reason to think this forum is being read by interesting people. :escape:

What word is that? I think that's okay to ask per TOS.

The daughter sometimes helped with morning workouts, but not the 5am ones. BB stated this early one, soon after the murder.

Still, the perp was comfortable in the knowledge that Missy would arrive alone. And, the perp worked really quickly once she arrived. It was planned well, imo.

Just waiting for his/her mistake to become apparent.....

jmo

Bold mine.

Yes, this was very well planned. SwatPerp also appeared to know that there were surveillance cameras at the church. SP had it all down to a science - dressing head to toe in police costume, using a weapon that is less likely to be traced than a gun, and seeming to know where Missy's family members were going to be the weekend of the crime.

Of course, SwatPerp might have just gotten lucky or is just a really good stalker.

Kinda freaky, yesterday we were discussing the possible presence of Missy during the interview with BB. And today, people getting friend's requests.

Odd. Once recently while searching for some article on MB, one of the other articles that came up was about a year old regarding an AA woman (photo) who had worked with police to arrest people plotting to murder her. She faked her own death and disappeared for a while, then showed up at her own funeral. And there was Dipolitto (?) in FL where LE convinced her on scene that they had found her husband dead after she tried to hire an undercover LE as a hitman (this woman makes my skin crawl) - LE had her husband walk into the interrogation room to surprise her. I don't think this happened here in MB case, but it is in the remotely possible category.

Very interesting story, but we were going much weirder than that. We were suggesting the presence of her Spirit.

Not that I believe she was sending the f/b invites, but a few people did sense her during the interview.

OT and I apologize to bring it into this thread, but I just saw the following news on Deorr Kunz;"Investigators announced that a campground search in Idaho Monday revealed new information and evidence into the disappearance of a 2-year-old boy last summer, but they would not reveal exactly what they uncovered." http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/ne...-in-july/ar-BBttYn8?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=DELLDHP15

Admins: Will that thread be reopening?

There's a new thread open for the search for DeOrr.

I'm still trying to get my bearings around the church layout. Can someone confirm that these two photos are of the same hallway, just from opposite viewpoints?

same hallway, one with balloons, is North looking South (side busted metal kitchen door side of building looking towards Covered awning door MB truck under) Suspect video, is seen walking from North to that South Covered Awning door. *** Where that Blue Balloon, JMHO is where camera area that catches Suspect opening the Dutch doors just inside that hallway.
ETA, this photo with the balloons, is from a VBS 2012, So you will see the windows look different on door area. They are different now, but that is same doors/entrance at the Covered Awning Entrance.

Too many people are saying they forgive the offender of crimes and they are not sincere.
Generally the statement of forgiveness is followed by a statement that the offender still must take his punishment.
IMHO that totally invalidates the expression of forgiveness.
This statement seems to be geared to making the speaker feel better
without any actual effort on their part,
this is very much like the folks who claim to be sending prayers to help your Granny in ICU get better.
I'm pretty sure that less than 1% of these folks actually take to their knees and beg a favor of God almighty.
(not that it makes any difference)

Respectfully, forgiveness does not mean forgetting or excusing offenses. Forgiveness brings the forgiver peace of mind and frees them from anger. It empowers people to recognize pain suffered without letting that pain define them. It enables people to heal and move on with their lives the best they can. It's a way of reastablishing some semblance of control. Forgiveness is not one simple action, it is a process and we have no idea what is in someone's heart.

Right...basically because of the ease in which the murderer maneuvers weaponry/tools from a belt implying an ease of usage.

This post from last night is referring to the local reporter's statement that BB is thinking the perp is a female and is 75% sure of that.

If you watch the video at 4:22, the anchor asks the reporter if BB has any sense of the 'sex' (gender) of the killer. The reporter states that BB thinks it's a female but has room for doubt because BB says he has seen video (that the reporter points out he, the reporter hasn't seen) that shows the killer holstering what the reporter calls a 'claw hammer or whatever it was' easily, as a man might be expected to do. So that's why he, BB, isn't 100% sure.

I've written a cumbersome sentence trying to be clear that all of this is the reporter's characterization of what BB said. They did not show it.

Is there a longer version of the interview somewhere?
Wonder what else was on the video BB said he has viewed, and how long it was.

IMO Regarding the forgiveness statement... I think BB/MT have a strong suspicion of who SP is, and I think SP is a person close to him/them in some way. Hence the "forgive IF".
He is being directed in some part by LE.
IF he acted too distraught (I do see some pain in that interview, to be clear), the SP may be unwilling to talk. But since he was so composed in the interview, I think there is a reason for that in part as well.
The "house of God" statement also has some meaning.
This is ALL my opinion, but I think there were some hints there...

ETA... He also didn't say he was 99-100% sure it was a female, but instead 75% sure. I think he is more like 99% sure, but the percentage of doubt could give SP some room to sigh a bit.

View attachment 95298I saw this immediately but thought it might just be graininess, but since I have not seen it mentioned by anyone else I will put it out there for discussion.
I see another bumper sticker on the far left that has a large V.

I see what you are referring to ....but to me it doesn't look like a "V" - it looks like a bird or something...here's another pic & I circled it:

another bumper sticker.jpg

But then again, it could just be that it's too enlarged/lightened/etc...could just be noise on the picture...who knows.

Not sure because I have not read it yet, but look in the media and timeline thread link to on page one of this thread. I think that the entire interview has been transcribed. JMO

Unless something has drastically changed, the person BB/MT suspected was not someone close to them. I think they initially had a person in mind, because one person had a motive (jealousy) and had in some way made MB uncomfortable. I don't know if that is still the case or if that person has been ruled out.

I have a question for those of you who are seasoned "websleuthers." As I said in a previous post, we in town were lead to believe through town gossip that this case would be solved much faster and was already on the way to an arrest. "Police are tying up loose ends to assure an conviction" was a sentence that was repeated so many times it nearly became a mantra. Now it's a month later....and many of us are feeling discouraged. How long do these cases typically take? Years? Is there no way to alert the public if they felt fairly sure that one POI is responsible? I could really use some peace of mind that this case will be solved.

I'm not feeling well so just know in advance that this post might not make much sense.

I'm trying to make a list of digital fingerprints SwatPerp might have left behind when murdering Missy:

1. The fake profile on Facebook - if it is someone creating a fake profile, then they need to track the IP address right away. Might not be SwatPerp but still worth looking into.
2. The creepy LinkedIn message - does LinkedIn keep IP records of messages sent through their system?
3. The possible burner phone - burner phone purchases can be traced to the store and credit card used to purchase it. If all else fails, using the date and time the person purchases it can be used to view security footage if someone used cash.
4. Security footage at the church - it might not be a bad idea for LE to look at footage from the days or even weeks previous to the crime occuring to see if someone did a "trial run" at the church (either driving by or looking in the window, ect). SwatPerp appeared to prepare to be caught on camera and covered themselves head to toe in a police costume.
5. Security footage at the nearby business - same as the church, perhaps SwatPerp had been there before, and police might find a similar Altima captured on camera under better daylight and weather conditions on days previous to the crime.

I am probably overlooking other things so if anyone has anything to add to this, feel free.

Maybe the police department needs to hire you right now lol.. You are exactly on point and logical. That's what I thought too.. Go ahead and track that IP address atleast it would show what computer it is coming from.

I have another left eye pic of the killer - taken from the MPD surveillance and it was while the killer was turning/walking. The shape of the eye is a little distorted...but you can see very short eyelashes and you can even see in the upper right what appears to be dark eyebrow hairs. Very curious....

Agreed. I would be highly highly p***** if I had kids and was living in that town. They either have someone in mind or being very selfish to their own community.

I have followed cases for more than a decade. While each is different, most take much longer than you want them to to be solved. It looks months to arrest Scott Peterson, Casey Anthony, and at least weeks for Jodi Arias (and they had naked pictures of her at the crime scene that were time stamped with the date of the murder). They generally don't make an arrest until they have all the evidence they need to get a conviction, which mean not only do they need proof that this is the person who did the crime, they need to go through all the other tips so the defense can't cause reasonable doubt with a "rush to judgement" or "some other dude did it {also known as SODDI} defense.

With all the crazy "tips" the police are getting on social media (FB, Twitter, etc.) I think this will be another month or so before arrest. If the public was in danger and they had enough to prosecute, they would make the arrest even without all the tips being fully investigated. But I have seen defendants demand a speedy trial if they think the police don't have all the investigation complete, so generally the police wait. IMO

There is a wall on the backside at receiving area dividing docks, supposedly that is where the person parked but I have no confirmation on that. I have however seen the images of the wall and does look similar. Someone wrote on the image, I was trying to find the same image without scribble on it, but the wall is clearly visible when there are no large trucks near it.

Just curious how we know this information. News release?or ...

Its way more frustrating to have the defense blow the prosecution apart with smoke and mirrors because all the investigation isn't complete, than it is to wait a few more weeks to let them get through all the stuff. Imagine the amount of man hours the video feeds from the sporting goods (gun) shop took. And that was just one place. They had to go through videos from all the other local businesses too, just in case. Then there is following up on all those tips. Each of these takes man hours and the local police force is small. They have help with the higher tech pieces but I doubt the outside agencies are doing a lot of tip investigation unless there is something other than it might be associated with this case. It's a pile of work and all of it has to be meticulously weeded through. IMO

From the church's FB page, this is the look down the other side of the main entrance. I blocked out the people myself. I tried to lighten up the background so I could tell what the words are, but no luck.

You are correct in that photo, it is hard to read. But, I feel confident that it says over the doors that lead into the Sanctuary/Auditorium... WORSHIP CENTER... as it shows in this photo from 2014 . this is showing over the entrance opposite end of hall next to the HOLY GROUND folding doors. main hall worship center sign.JPG

Today's one

ODD... Why would even BB not want to.be cleared as a suspect? That's just very weird...

Struck me as odd and narrator mentioned twice!
