This tragedy seems to be breaking news:

Police said they responded to King Road for a report of an unconscious person. When officers arrived, they “discovered four individuals who were deceased...”

ADMIN NOTE:

As Kaylee's parents said she was "a websleuth", we don't know if they meant she was an actual WSer or if it was used in a more generic sense.

If any member or guest reading here knows that Kaylee was in fact a Websleuths member, and her user ID, please send me a private message to advise. Tricia has asked me to find out as she would like to send flowers or make a donation to something in Kaylee's name.

Thank you.

Please read The Rules (linked in my signature), and continue discussion here.

Also, for anyone other than victims or an officially named POI/suspect, use initials or your post will be removed.

No sleuthing or insinuations/accusations against anyone who is not officially named a POI/suspect by LE.

The following Johnny Law youtube was originally posted by Mayboy1998 earlier today but because it was not a podcast host we were familiar with and we did not have time to view it in its entirety, it was removed. Having now had time to view it, it is being approved on a one-time basis because it does seem to provide an excellent analysis of the layout of the house, where individuals may have been sleeping, and it speaks to the location of the red liquid in relation to the overall layout of the house.

Thread is open again.

When someone posts a rumor, please do NOT respond. Just Report and let us nip it in the bud.

Responding makes a lot of extra work for us, and we get cranky when we have to read through almost an entire thread to find and clean up 25+ responses about something that should never have been posted in the first place.

Thank you.

Thread 13, post #977 has the pic with obvious berries on the tree right next to the deck.

Sorry, can't get it to link.

We don't quote post numbers because those can change over time due to Mods having to remove posts.

The following will help everyone know how to quote a post from elsewhere and then your link will not change due to moderation:

ADMIN NOTE:

This post lands at random

To any members who have complained about removal of their off topic posts and TOs issued for derailing the discussion.

There is a very good reason Off Topic posts are a violation of Websleuths TOS.

First of all, the threads are not personal chat or comedy rooms. Off topic posts derail the thread, making the thread all about you and what you want to talk about. Each day, hundreds of members and thousands of guests come to Websleuths to read about the topic the thread is dedicated to, not to read about you or your life or what you think is funny. It is disrespectful to the victims who these threads are dedicated to.

The one thread you post off topic in is not the only active thread that Mods and Admins deal with every day. WS has thousands of threads, 212,000+ members, and only 4 staff to deal with hundreds of active threads 24/7 .

Simple math ... if there are 200 members currently online and even 5% of those members feel it is okay to sneak in that innocuous little off topic post, and each of those 10 posts receives 10 responses and those responses receive even 2 responses each, that is 200 off topic posts alone that our volunteer Moderators would have to search for and remove in a day (in addition to all the other TOS violations they have to deal with).

This means that for your little post that you think is harmless, our staff have to go through pages and pages of posts to find all the responses to your OT post.

Please be courteous to other members, the families and guests reading here, and to our volunteer staff who work very hard in trying to keep the discussions respectful and on topic.

Thank you.

ADMIN NOTE:

Stop bringing rumors into this discussion, and stop stating opinion as fact.

There is no approved source to support that EC was found in the hallway.

Mods have had to remove or modsnip tons of posts based on members discussing "whispers" (i.e RUMORs) and/or members theories that contain information as fact when such "fact" is actually based on rumor.

Members who violate the above TOS are subject to a temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges.

The aspect no-one had approach prior the last pages of previous thread:
THE FOOD
So, once again, I apologize in advance should this become the new DOG / UNCONCIOUS / FRIENDS, but I've been wondering that did K&M ever eat the food they brought?
Was this food break something the surviving roommates heard, and were they still up and about at the time or in their beds (it's said they "returned home by 1 a.m", but nothing more)?
Did the 2 of them eat it or did all 4 or even 6 of them hang out together?
In what room? Was the perp watching at that time or not?
Was there any importance in the possible conversation between the 2/4/6?
Was the plan to eat up and settle in for the night or to have some food and continue partying?
No, I don't try to go any direction with it, it is just that this part of the timeline, very close to the murders, is rather fuzzy to me.

catch-up to the latest statement on whether the crime was 'targeted'

'detectives do not currently know if the residents or any of the occupants were specifically targeted but continue to investigate'
and Bill Thompson apologises

Ashleigh - ' This is absurd'

So to continue from my last post: Everything MPD or parents have stated says all 4 killings or initial stabbings, happened in 2 beds. Yes?
MPD said that they will not say who was found in (which) bed and who not. They have stated that at the beginning of the attack "The four victims were likely asleep, some had defensive wounds, and each was stabbed multiple times".
K's dad suddenly said at the vigil that they were in the same bed. If it's true or not, where did he get that idea from and for what reason did he say it in his speech, is unkown.

I think that the prosecutor is local and used to a very small stage, plus in town where there is very little crime. I think he was likely tired of people criticizing that they have no idea about anything at this point, they don’t know what they’re doing, and so he decided to be honest and say that basically that they know that one of the girls was targeted. I think that the police then did not want that out there and so they walked it back.

Everyone of course wants to know what is going on, but until they have the maniac behind bars, everyone really does need to stop talking. They should refuse all interviews and the families and the police should all stop doing any interviews. it’s just too hard to try to navigate every word that will be par stout and to basically try to answer questions without saying anything. They should just release a statement and say until there is an arrest, it is better that they not do any interviews. And then they can do press releases like they have been doing to say who they ruled out or what they do not believe is related “at this time“.

Yes I've taken all that into account. He was likely told far more by police or ME abut the crime or at least facts relevant to his daughter than the public has been told. Maybe even more than the pubic will know for some time or ever. MOO.

also bringing this clip over from the last thread

at 3.30 mins into this news nation clip.
Ethan's triplets at the party ( Hunter & Maisie) & the gaps in the time line from 9pm onwards for E & X

Ashleigh says that H & M were with their brother for whole time at the party( although I'm not sure if that has been confirmed by the Chapin family to the public. Anybody know?)

Folks are wondering why the 2nd floor victims were missing for a period of time. Perhaps they were avoiding the house for fear that somebody might come to exact revenge on one of them. Perhaps they thought it was safe to return after hours passed.

Where did you see this posted? The timeline here states that "Investigators believe all four victims had returned to the home by 2 a.m. the night of the stabbings. Two surviving roommates had also gone out in Moscow that night, police said, and returned to the house by 1 a.m."
