We are NOT going to discuss Clint or the family as suspects. We are not going to bash this family. They will not be discussed as POI's or suspects.

You can discuss what they say and what they've said but you are not going to speculate on why its different in your opinion or why they even said it this way one time and that way another.

Rumors are not allowed. We are a victim friendly site.

Here are those theories - keep them coming, btw.

Theories since sarx's 09/22 call for theories:

    01. The "boyfriend, afraid of losing her"
    02. The "Holly knew too much"
    03. The "In town, just passing through"
    04. The "girlfriend got jealous"
    05. The "Holly ran away on her own"
    06. The "rogue LE"
    07. The "sibling involvement"
    08. The "Holly's girlfriend's boyfriend cheated"
    09. The "retribution against a family member"
    10. The "accidental death w/cover-up"
    11. The "preacher, brimming with passion"
    12. The "rogue spokespastor"
    13. The "victim of a serial offender"
    14. The "knew her though churchwork"
    15. The "kidnapped her to keep her"
    16. The "rogue coon hunter"
    17. The "man who tossed Drew and his dad off the property"
    18. The "secret twin rogue brother"
    19. The "wheel in the sky keeps on turning" - wait, that's not one
    19. The "random hunter who stumbles across the Bobos' property"
    20. The "known stalker"
    21. The "they know who dunnit but can't close the deal"
    22. The "culprit eluded the bloodhounds"
    23. The "those pesky aliens in their UFOs"
    24. The "Bigfoot in full turkey camo"
    25. The "odd person who leaves little messages"
    26. The "fell victim to human trafficking"

If you had a vote right now, which one would you favor?

FBI Press Conference on Adam Mayes Shooting
Posted on: 9:30 pm, May 10, 2012, by Scott Koral,

'Ironically, Hatfield, Adam Mayes, and the two Bain daughters were located due to the public's tips. Nancy Grace released the info that Mayes had traveled to a convenience store in his vehicle and aired a photo. LE had aired the security cam video from the convenience store showing Mayes, but reported that the vehicle description was unknown.

Within 24 hours after the NG airing, Mayes killed himself and the Bain daughters rescued due to sightings of the vehicle/public tips....

Is this a prelude to a theory, or are you keeping us in the dark?

I requested a new thread. The other was getting jam-packed. Now I think I killed the whole thing.

20 and 21 together, as 21 is not mutually exclusive from the others.

    I'm going with this trifecta bet: 2, 9, 21.

Well if we're going out of the box stuff I think some has suggested Militia.

Then wasn't there the Mason's or some other secretive society?

Not sure which number, but I'm hanging on to the RSO/Remote Acquaintance who knew of Holly. Not sure if this is what 21 means, but I think they probably have a fair idea but still don't feel they have enough direct evidence that could be used at trial to get a conviction so there has been no arrest yet.

As theories roll in I'll re-up the list after three or four new ones.

I did compact the theories and make them into one-liners for brevity's sake; if one wants to read them in their entirety they are back on #34 starting on 09.22, and are more or less in the order listed here.

Now, assuming the facts that have been reported are accurate, I am curious, how many of the theories simply don't fit the facts. In other words, in order to make a given theory work, how many existing facts have to be ignored and how many new facts have to be added in order to make that theory work. My personal belief is the more facts you have to disregard or the more facts you have to add, the less likely that theory is to be true.

The brevity works for me. Thanks for putting it together. Didn't think hitting "Thanks" was enough.

Are we still out of the box theories or are we adding inside the box theories too?

Instead of picking just one or two, I tried to rank them based on likelihood. Here were my thoughts.

    27. Added the remotely acquainted predator. - Only question is who
    13. Serial offender/RSO - They don't change their stripes
    9. Retribution against family - For what? Firing? Money owed?
    2. Holly knew too much - About what? No indication HB involved with that
    20. Known stalker - This would probably move to #1 if established as true.
    25. Odd person leaving messages - Much like stalker
    11. Preacher with passion - See no indication but being Catholic, I'm weary
19B. Random hunter - Too many unknowns would have to line up
    16. Rogue coon hunter - Is it fact Holly went to the coon hunt?
    3. In town/Passing through - Wouldn't know Holly/house/schedule
    12. Rogue spokespastor - No indication but otherwise see 11 above.
    4. Jealous girlfriend - Haven't heard any facts there was one.
    8. GF's BF cheated - Not sure I followed. Lumped it with 4 above.
    6. Rogue LE - Bad seeds everywhere. Otherwise nothing points that way.
    15. Kidnapped to keep - Unfortunately, don't believe she's alive.
    26. Human Trafficking - Usually don't prey on middle class college students.

I didn't include the following because I think they are a little different.

    14. Knew through churchwork - This is possible but could apply to a number of the theories above. It would explain a connection between Holly and perp.
    21. They knew who done it but can't arrest - I think they have a fairly good idea who is responsible but it's a matter of putting together enough evidence to convict. I'm not a believer in they can't arrest because someone in power is untouchable. If it involves a "powerful" family, they may be preventing the arrest by hindering the investigation, but I don't think they're actively being protected.
    22. Culprit eluded bloodhounds - Certainly did or we wouldn't be here now.

The following I just don't see as possible or only possible if some known facts are ignored or changed.

    1. DS - His whereabouts are accounted for and likely verified by LE.
    7. CB - Just not possible unless you ignore/disbelieve nearly all the evidence. Plus the body would have to be within a few miles.
    5. Holly ran away - Again, would have to ignore everything known.
    10. Accident/Cover Up - Would have to ignore everything known and why would family still be active. They'd want it to quietly go away.
    17. Relative on grandma's property. Whereabouts accounted for much like DS.
    18. Secret twin rogue brother
19A. Wheel in the sky - Call me dense, didn't understand
    23. Aliens
    24. Bigfoot
