If he really did buy a new bike before she went missing, he may have told SM he would get rid of her old bike and he may have planted it way in advance at a much earlier time than we thought! That way he could be sure he wouldn't need to go near it after he killed her because it would already be planted and if he got caught planting it it wouldn't be a big deal because she would have still been alive at the time. Once he had planted it and sure he wasn't seen he was good to go.

I believe so. It lines up with all the maps I’ve seen regarding the bike location.

I just noticed something else from the PE Storymap- in the Cellular Towers & Tracking section.

Key locations are highlighted in yellow, key towers are marked in purple. What's up with the two towers located near Cougar Canyon Pt in Divide, CO?

Did I miss some speculative discussion about pings in this area?

I’ve never been able to make heads or tails of the cell phone pong map. I wish they’d give better details on what the various color coded lines means, assuming the mean anything at all.

I deffinelty think there is something about the content of the texts important here, the PE guy's said the friend went into "panic mode" after the conversation stopped abruptly, I can understand being concerned about somebody if they stop replying but going into full panic mode? I don't see that happening just because somebody doesn't reply for a while unless there was also something concerning within the texts themselves along with the replies stopping.

I think the friend of SM had quite the back story on their marriage. I also think she was messaging with SM and something felt off to her. The friend then decided to FaceTime SM, and those went unanswered which is what started the panic feeling. Moo.

BM didn't even think it important to tell them WHO he was looking for.

"he leaves a note in the Pancha Market. “Somebody knocked on the window and it was Barry Morphew,” Tiffany Butala (Store Manager). There was no mention of who he was looking for, no description, only this note."

I read the reporting on that incident but what we don't know is the entirety of the interaction in that store that occurred at that time.

BM may have hurriedly begun with an 'I'm looking for someone wearing such-and-such!', etc., then a question-answer may have occurred, 'Who is it?', etc. Partial reporting is sometimes worse than no reporting. I've experienced such hurried interaction during which a person is so-focused on their own thoughts they forget to fully explain what they need or doing or looking for, etc. I've done it myself. That's reality. That's life. It happens.

BM posted his video on Facebook on Sunday May 17.
Lauren Scharf said in one of her Facebook Lives that she was not working that day and one of her colleagues alerted her about the video. LS said she called LE to see if they wanted to comment on it and LE told her they hadn’t seen it yet and weren’t aware of it.

Which tells me that BM took that effort upon himself without encouragement from LE. If my wife went missing I would not refrain from doing what he did because LE told me not to. We know LE has done that in the past, where they 'advise' or 'instruct' family members or whomever not to go public or give interviews, etc. We know it's happened.

I'd sure love to know the nature of the repair she sought.

I'd guess after being informed LE found "personal items" (yes, Speeze used plural) he immediately began looking for other items belonging to SM. I'd have done the same. Finding items in various locations might reveal a direction of travel... that would be my thinking if I were involved in such a situation.

I tried to listen again last night but still can't find the part where the man said BM said he was looking in the garbage for the helmet. Does anybody know at approximately how long into the video it was? I want to hear exactly what was said. It's such odd behavior to be only coming out four months after the fact.

I was hoping the psychologist would share some insight into the dynamics of the marriage, or at least say what she thought of BM moving her "out in the middle of nowhere,"with hardly any cell phone service and "no internet to speak of," or however AM put it.

Also her thoughts on Suzanne being browbeaten almost every single day over her depression and taking medicine for it, BM against her taking medical marijuana, etc.

I was hoping someone would ask a question about it but the only question I heard was why was she picked to be on the Price is Right.

I doubt he would buy a new bike just to plant it there before Suzanne even went missing. How would he explain the bike being thrown down the embankment? And why would Suzanne take her bike to the repair shop on Thursday if she had just gotten a new one? Maybe the PE guys were just guessing that she got a new bike because they weren't sure the trip to the bicycle shop was for a new bike or for a repair.

The personal item was reportedly not found until two days later, on the 14th.

The PE guys said they weren't going to speculate any further on whether a new bike was bought or not because she "may" have taken the bike to a local bicycle shop to be repaired. So it sounds like they think it's one or the other but they can't confirm.

I'm not sure what difference it makes whether it was an old bike or a new bike that was found down the ravine.

Cell phone's are not my thing but if its anything to do with any kind of social media messages i can easily edit ANY of the info, that goes for facebook, twitter, instagram etc or even forum messages using the EXACT same fonts etc, He's just a quick example attached bellow.

Several years ago a School Resource Officer told me there was an app (hopefully it's no longer around) that would allow text messages to be sent under a masked cell phone number. Example: I wanted to pretend to send texts from your phone number, posing as you. This app would allow that to happen. Apparently, this caused a huge problem at this High School where one female student used this app to pose as another female student and wreak havoc with "mean girl" antics. The victim never sent any of these texts. IMO
